Re: User facilities for multiple services

I spoke with Exetel support this morning and now it is all OK. I can see all services when I sign into my ADSL user facility account. ADSL2, VOIP, HSPA and mobile.

Re: South Coast (NSW) Coverage

The yagi is the Exetel yagi advertised at https://www.exetel.com.au/modemorder/index.php?p=350 I'm not sure what frequency the tower is. I've just rotated the yagi through a full 360 degrees, maybe 10 degrees at a time, observing the signal bars and the speed while doing a broadband speed test. The ...

Re: South Coast (NSW) Coverage

I bought the Exetel Yagi aerial and have mounted it externally. It makes a marginal improvement but the service is so poor it is unuseable. Downloads are at around 5-6 kbps and signal strength is 0%. What annoys me is that this is a resold Optus service and the Optus service-checker website still sa...

User facilities for multiple services

I have an ADSL2 service, an HSPA service and have ordered a mobile service. I requested they be on one account with one invoice and Exetel Provisioning told me this is how it has been set up. If I go into User Facilities, logging in with the username and password for my ADSL2 service, I can see all ...

South Coast (NSW) Coverage

I have an HSPA service with Exetel and I've tried to use it at my house just north of Mollymook in a known bad reception area for mobile phones. The service connects but is not usable due to dropouts. If I try it at a friend's house just a couple of kilometres away, in a good mobile phone reception ...

Re: Problem opening a ticket

I tried sending an email to that email address but haven't received a reply (since Sunday).

I guess I'll try phoning during business hours tomorrow.

Problem opening a ticket

I cant seem to log a support ticket because I cant get an email address into my member account. If I log into my member account and list my email addresses, there are none. So, I click on "add email address" and follow the prompts and receive an emailed confirmation code, enter this and the helpdesk...

Dial-up when travelling

Some ISP's broadband plans include a dial-up service that can be used when travelling etc. Does Exetel have this?

Caller ID sent to landlines but not mobiles

I've got a VOIP service on ALSL2 with DID. When making a VOIP call to a landline, the DID caller ID is sent OK. When making a VOIP call to a mobile, the DID caller ID is not displayed on the mobile phone (have tried several mobiles). It used to work OK to mobiles, but now it does not. It's possible ...

Sydney DID Number Availability

I got the email notification regarding no charge for a DID number. So I followed the directions on the website and cancelled my non-DID VOIP service, and then tried to order a new DID VOIP service. It requires that you select a DID number, but there are no Sydney numbers there to select. There are n...
