Re: Can't hear ringing on outgoing call
Same issue here. Just did the upgrade. I now have version 3.64y. (this was the latest one i could find, as dazzled says) Did not fix the problem for me, i just rang my office number, got one very brief ring sound, then silence. When the office picked up, about 15 seconds later, i missed the first fe...

Re: Accessing facilities after churning away (for voip/fax etc)
As it happens, i am still an exetel client, it's just that the particular exetel service that my voip and fax was attached to was churned away because it wasnt strictly mine anymore. I still have exetel at my new home. I wonder if my fax and voip can just be moved to my new account then?

Faxes not being received, or delayed
I have noticed there is usually a fair delay (30mins or more) for receivig faxes. The last few days I have not received any at all (and i even sent myself one...) so is there something wrong? BTW I use exetel VOIP and FAX but my ADSL isnt with exetel so i cant log into the user facilities to check i...

Re: Where do I enter new credit card expiry date.
Why can't exetel continue using the card if it's been renewed? A customer of mine has been told the credit card has expired but of course it hasnt, it's been renewed. Do they still have to update credit card details?

Re: Verizon IP Issue
Youtube works fine for me, unless I try and watch any video which insinuates the U.S. election is a sham. Then it's either slow or wont work... I wonder why?

Who cancelled my VOIP?
My VOIP seems to have been cancelled. I keep getting the busy signal, and when I log into the user facilities it says I dont have VOIP!
Who should I give my ADSL number and VOIP number to to get this fixed?

Re: Running a PC with no CPU fan
Corey, It's true I'd like to know the motherboard model number rather than the system, but I'm blowed if I could find one... The MB has nothing that I could find... What you say about comparing in the BIOS with and without the fan is actually a very good idea. The same could be then done with MBM5 a...

Re: Running a PC with no CPU fan
I agree I should look at maybe some sort of fan, but it would help to know I am seeing the right temps on MBM5 or some other software. The real issue is the Acer G600 is a machine which doesnt exist. Google it and you find very very limited info. So the motherboard isnt supported by any monitoring s...

Running a PC with no CPU fan
I just thought I'd ask if anyone has any comments on this... I have unplugged the CPU fan on my Acer G600 (Cel 2Ghz) because it was too noisy. The celeron is a relatively cool running chip so i figured i'd give it a try. Plus, this PC was given to me and I'm just using it as a sort of media PC in th...

Re: A suggestion for keeping tech support costs low
Just a thought..... A great deal of Exetel users seem to technically quite capable....others aren't. How about allowing users to nominate themselves for basic support of other users - like a buddy system - offering extra benefits or incentifves to users who provide tech support - it doesn't have to...
