Re: Revised/New ADSL1 Plans

Umm so in retaining cheaper bandwidth I lose 5gb from my peak usage with the TL-BB plan. I don't see where the advantage is to that?

- My mistake. The price decreased by $5 which I am more then happy with. Thanks exetel.

Re: Practical alternatives for managing off-peak and congestion

I personally start my p2p downloads at a time which best suits exetel. I have a dedicated server which I have set to download all my files I want in offpeak times. I max my downloads to the limit each and every month and I am all for the idea of less download time in offpeak and more usage. I would ...

Re: VoIP and Telstra HomeLine Budget

I fully agree with CoreyPlover on this topic that exetel is not LSS. I was incorrect in my first statement.

Dam those tricky telstra people they will tell you anything to get more money out of you.

Changing from the expensive plan to the homeline budget plan as we speak see how it goes.

Re: VoIP and Telstra HomeLine Budget

Let me start by saying I hate telstra but they control most of Australian phone network so we don't have much choice. At the bottom of the telstra phone plan's sheet it states. 1.HomeLine Budget customers agree not to acquire services from other carriage service providers by dialling their access ov...

This sounds like a good idea in my mind. One clean altogether bill will make it easier to see my spending for the month.

Can't access website

I have tried just about everything I can think of to try and access the website (www.area07.net). It’s currently a private P2P site which I got an invite from my friend. I did check with him that he can access the site and he said everything is working fine. I have tried 2 x XP SP2 computers and 2 d...

Thank you so much 3lusiv3! You gave me the idea to change my modulation setting to G.Dmt and now I sync at 6634 kbps down and 800 up. My sync before was 2633 down and 811 up. Much happier with my new speed. Yay for stumbling upon your idea.
Thanks From Yello.

Thanks for the help CoreyPlover very much appreciated! Correct. You will receive your phone bills from Exetel (as an Optus reseller) instead of Telstra. 1. This is the cheapest way I think because it will be cheaper then the AnyPhone plan connection fee + using telstra's budget plan of $19.95 in the...
