SPAM

Both my and my father's email accounts are getting flooded with spam emails which are being identified by "SP Casino" and "Eurogaming Palace" which, looking at the recipients of the email, are attacking Exemail email addresses. Can anything be done about this without resorting to being charged an ex...

Re: Download Peak Times

Cheers.

I know one day I went a bit overboard (3.5gb in one day?! My bad! Haha), but the others I couldn't recall doing anything too much. Must've just been too much time procrastinating on Youtube.

Cheers for looking into it, regardless.

Download Peak Times

I've noticed a few heavy days on my download. Now one or two I can explain, but perhaps I've just been spending too much time on youtube. But is there any chance that the peak/offpeak times are screwed up due to daylight savings time? I've my downloads set to happen during offpeak, but still had a f...

Re: Webmail Issue?

I'm starting to think that there's a relation between my drop outs and this webmail issue. I'm still on my old router (that never had an issue when it was used). When I upgraded to the new router, I started getting drop outs, and I assumed it was the new router. Had it replaced once, but was still d...

Re: Webmail Issue?

Interestingly, on my old router, I just had a drop out again. Same thing every time. My internet connection light stays on on my router, but I lose access to the net... happens on every computer/my iphone, whether connected via ethernet or wireless. Thought it was the new router... seems it may not ...

Re: Webmail Issue?

Wee... so, I win an award for longest follow up to an issue, yes? So, today, after many more drop outs after trying various work arounds on the new router, I decided to plug my old router in. Mainly to see if the drop outs are related to the router, or to my line... Interestingly, I just tried to ac...

Re: Webmail Issue?

Would not the fact I can't access it on my iPhone (not a Windows computer) indicate that it's something else without the need to run Linux bootups? That said, I've just scoured my router (which I'm rapidly seeing as a piece of junk) and there is NOTHING set up on any firewall on it... no blocked sit...

Re: Webmail Issue?

Just discovered that webmail is the same on my desktop. I must have never checked it, since I just use Outlook on this. Just looking on my router and I can't find any rules blocking anything. It's a Netgear DGN2200... a router I found particularly crap for gaming, btw, since the DHCP lease expires a...

Webmail Issue?

So, interestingly, I can't access the webmail site on my home network. I can download my email through a client (either Outlook Express on my desktop which is plugged into my router via ethernet cable or to my iPhone while on my wireless network). But, on my laptop, I can no longer access the webmai...

Netgear DG834GV2 running HOT?

G'day y'all, Hoping for some help/advice/comment here. I have a Netgear DG834GV2 wireless router. Had it for quite a few years. With the renovation of my study, the router is now sitting on top my desk. I came home tonight, walked into my study, and noticed it was rather warm. I didn't know why, as ...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

Cheers Jokin. Please note the last para, though :) Is there any issue with changing from credit card to direct debit during the course of the contract? I assume that we can change payment method at any time before the billing date without problem? i.e. If we start with paying for our plan via credit...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

Okay, about to sign on for a new twelve month contract. One final question? If we sign on to a new contract, we will be exempt from the $3 admin fee. We will still be charged the $1.10 credit card fee, though. Is there any issue with changing from credit card to direct debit during the course of the...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

By the by, Jokiin (and Gidget and co, assuming they're still around), I totally love and respect the work you do here. I obviously don't blame you for any of this, so please don't take any of my frustrations as directed at you. But Exetel are really disappointing me here. And I'm hoping that these ...
