Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

I have to swap to a cheaper plan with less download to get back to my original price. Exetel were more than $5 cheape...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans
You guys just lost any competitive edge you had over your competitors. I am glad to see that there are someone (not only one) who share my opinion. Whatever Exetel staff try to defend their competitiveness, this is how some of existing users see over the recent series of changes as a customer of Ex...

where is VOIP call rate?
hi
Please direct me to the page where I can refer to the VOIP call rates (I am with Naked ADSL2+ service) including international calls?
I spend more than 15 mins but couldn't find the page.

Re: NO ADSL2 connection
since the second log was closed, the symptom dissapeared and never happened again since. I haven't changed any setting on my side and the sync and ADSL connection status are back to normal. I don't know what caused this sync problem.

Re: NO ADSL2 connection
It may be just a conincidence, but I am having a ADSL2 connection problem (ADSL connection suddenly off and unstable - with ADSL indicator goes off/flashing). I am in Sydney Newtown NSW. The first log which was solved : AF064264 The second log which I just logged (not yet solved): AF064386 All ADSL2...

Re: ADSL2+ outage since 2pm 5 March 2009
I have changed my DNS setting with alternative ones as below.
Primary DNS: 220.233.0.3
Secondary DNS: 208.67.222.222
Uncheck the option 'automatically assign DNS'
and the connection comes back instantly!

I will try this alternate DNS and report the result when reconnected.CoreyPlover wrote:Worked for some people at least:syncmaster wrote:Is anyone solve the problem with alternate DNS? I am at work (cause this is the only way I can connect internet at this moment) so I cannot test it.

Re: ADSL2+ outage since 2pm 5 March 2009
I too experienced an outage around the times of posters in this thread (wasn't here at the computer, but my wife told me the internet went down though naturally came back on a short time afterwards). For those who may find it useful, you can always try http://www.opendns.com which has instructions,...

Re: VOIP call - poor voice quality while streaming
have you tried disabling the QOS altogether, I know a lot of routers don't do this particularly well, maybe give it a try without and without P2P running, if it's ok then perhaps use P2P again but limit the upload from within the program itself rather than it flooding your router and the router try...

Re: VOIP call - poor voice quality while streaming
limiting the upload for P2P is definitely a good idea, are you on an ADSL1 or 2 service? Try with no P2P data and see if the issue continues. I am with Naked ADSL2+ plan. I remember when I am not using P2P, quality of VOIP is ok. I haven't used P2P for a while until recently and with P2P, I found t...

Re: VOIP call - poor voice quality while streaming
P2P upload will definitely make a difference, G729 is ok as it is a low bandwidth codec anyway, what is your connection speed? I got a result - [(Your line speed is [*3.64 Mbps*] (3642 kbps). Your download speed is [*455 KB/s*] (0.44 MB/s). )] will it make any difference if I limit upload speed in ...
