Problems moving - can't understand what is going on
I'm trying to move my phone/ADSL service 0294608xxx from somewhere in St Leonards to somewhere in Artarmon. Both locations are on the St Leonards exchange and my current phone/adsl service I believe is on the Optus network. Telstra has had no problem moving a voice line only (another 0294608xxx numb...

Re: St Leonards NSW problem early this morning
Sorry about this but there were no planned events in your area last night. Is your service working fine at the moment? If it is not we can look into it further. It is working now - as I said it was out for 50mins or so. Did Exetel know about this? I find it hard to believe that both my modems sudde...

St Leonards NSW problem early this morning
I was working on an urgent project last night and at about 3:10am both my Exetel ADSL connections went down at the same time. I waited a while but ended up going to sleep. Looking at my modem it looks like there was 45min outage where my ADSL was connected but the modem could not authenticate. What ...

ADSL link up but cannot authenticate
My two ADSL lines have been working fine for ages. Then about 20 mins ago they both dropped out. I can see one has the ADSL connection up (20415144/812991 showing as speeds) but it cannot start PPP. Has something gone wrong at Exetel's end?? I'm pretty sure it isn't my line or modem. I'm on the St L...

Re: Changing Plan from BUSMA
All solved - remosha has changed our plans from BUSMA to "Large".
So to everyone else - if sales tells you it can't be done keep hassling! You don't have to get a new number!

Changing Plan from BUSMA
hi I've got 2 mobiles on an old BUSMA plan. They are both used as mobile phone - ie voice & data. I want to change plans (to "Large") and have been corresponding with Amanda about it. The user facilities only offers me the option to change to the "Premium" plan - which is data only (no voice). I can...

Re: Reception issues with UK phones
There are many android apps out there which will tell you the frequency of the radio that is in use. I personally use this app to force a particular network mode when my data keeps switching between wcdma and Edge. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network&feature=search_res...

Re: Reception issues with UK phones
Ok, so it looks like our phones aren't picking up the 900MHz towers for some reason. Any ideas on how we work out why?jokiin wrote:if you're on an Optus network then you have access to whatever is there, 900, 2100, it is not segregated as suggested

Reception issues with UK phones
hi We've got 2 UK Android phones and are having some reception problems. The phones (HTC Desire A8181 & HTC Legend) are meant to be 3G 900/2100 MHz ones - ie matching the Optus network. We were in Falls Creek (VIC snowfields) a few weeks ago. When we were in the village the reception was fine. Once ...

It seems to have fixed itself for me now... I didn't do anything - I was planning to reboot my phone but hadn't got around to it!

Re: Forward to email then delete message?
I've just got caught out with this - my mailbox is full because I didn't realise I had to delete them.
It would be great if it could delete old messages automatically. I had never gone to the voicemail itself until today because I receive all my voicemails via email.
