Re: Query about relocation of services

**I didn't see our plan on the relocation page, if and when I move would I have to submit a support request since I don't see it listed? I will double check this with the sales department and send you an email. One of my colleague in the sales department has sent you an email with the required deta...

Re: Query about relocation of services

Well that definitely makes it a bit easier.

I'll go have a look now, thank you.

Hello, hopefully I put this in the right section..*tap tap* I may be moving house shortly and would like to know how this works in regards to ADSL2 lines, to put it basically I've just signed up for an ADSL2 plan for a year and have no idea what the process involves in relation to this, I'd prefer t...

Re: Adsl2 new connection query

We are now up and running hopefully, still having a few dropouts but I did check last night and the updated service message is to be finished by close of business tonight. What kind of speed should I be expecting as an average with my new improved ADSL2 connection when I am approximately 2.8 kms fro...

Adsl2 new connection query

Hello, recently applied for that new ADSL2 plan & was informed that it should be done by the 4th. Our adsl1 connection went down around approx 8 hours ago & the modem is reporting speeds of 1536/256 & says adsl is connected but the Internet won't connect. Is it usual for adsl1 to adsl2 switchover to...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

Without reading through 14 pages to get my answer... This is the first email I've gotten and I'm quoting here... Dear *****************, Following the news letter advice that was sent to you on 1st January 2011 this is a follow up advice of the fact that your current, out of contract, ADSL plan will...

Re: Usage Meter Issue - Usage Over-Reported

I'm having the same issue as well. Noticed it last night and fired off an email to Residential Support. Got a reply back that the devs would look into it Monday morning, so I'm not worried about it. As of yesterday, I estimate that 7-8GBs had been added on that should not be there. This morning show...

Re: Continual speed & line noise variance issue help!!

Overnight tests. Right at the end of the graph I ran a little experiment. We have nothing plugged into the phone line at this point EXCEPT the ADSL connection, no phones connected. I just called the house line on my mobile and look at the end of my graph going haywire. We don't even have a handset p...

Re: Q about telephone exchanges re: speed change

I found an awesome little app last night and started to monitor my connection, it keeps a record of connection speed and line noise. I'm not sure where to start on solving this issue, since it has been affecting my phone connection to the house I have logged the fault with my telco so Telstra has be...

Re: Q about telephone exchanges re: speed change

The results from adsl2echanges gives me this information about us. You are 2593 m from MWRL as the crow flies. Estimated cable length of 3241.25 m. Estimated speed of 5666 I have no idea how much this would affect the noise ratio, my line has been working fine for the most part until this year and t...

Re: Q about telephone exchanges re: speed change

Hello again, since the last post Telstra have been here twice and are scheduled for a third visit this weekend. The first time the guy just swapped the line filter-when telco called up to follow up I could barely hear them and they sent the guy again who then rewired the entire house up to the first...

Continual speed & line noise variance issue help!!

Hello, may be a stupid question but I'll never know if I don't ask. Recently I changed over from a 1.5 to an 8000 plan. What I would like to know is that when you are changed over to a higher speed is anything physically done at the exchange to do this or does someone at Exetel just change a setting...

Re: Service Details suggestion

Oh, no. I've gotten my reply already, like I said, it took awhile but considering the uproar about changes to the plans, that was understandable, albeit frustrating. That's not the thing anymore... I was just suggesting that it'd be a good idea to get the initial contract expiration date thing squar...

Service Details suggestion

It's a small thing, but it's a detail that would save your staff having to answer a lot of emails. I'd like to suggest adding contract expiration dates to the customer's service details page, and by that, I mean current ones. I had the problem of waiting over the last 48 hours trying to determine wh...

Re: Off Peak Period Change

I'm starting to feel invisible. Third time now.

Are the people who upgraded to the new FP-D2 plan this month bound to a new 12 month policy and exempt from the offpeak change per the update, or are they free to churn without worrying about an early termination fee?
