Re: Where is my password?
Also looking for a password for my new VOIP via the adsl service transferred to NBN. Is that enough information for some one to find the account/number or do I need to post it to someone. I did try a support ticket #10386824, but they are currently hung up on where the request came from. As I keep s...

Re: Increase Of $5.00 Per Month In Your Current Plan Charge
Edit: Just as a little side note, Telstra called me a couple of weeks ago asking how my service was going, etc. I grumbled at them a lot about how I was very unhappy about them refusing several months ago to allow me to shift from the HomelinePlus plan back to HomeLineBasic withou...

Re: Are all ADSL 1 plans increasing from 1st April?
That is what I have already said, there is not any ADSL one plans listed. Only ADSL 2. Did someone screw up the website or am I missing an emal to say that Exetel is no longer offering ADSL1 at my exchange? Also, I am looking for someone to confirm that the prices currently listed on the ADSL1 churn...

Are all ADSL 1 plans increasing from 1st April?
Received an email today to say that my old adsl1 service(TEL1) will go up $5 on !st april 2010. That puts my current plan out of our price range, so after finding out that the link included in the email was useless (change services link only gives ADSL2 plans), I eventually found the ADSL1 churn use...

Good game discussion forum recommendations wanted.
Sorry folks, I'm tired of dealing with the exetel games forum, it is just unreadable, it never sends forgotten paasords and it continually drops my rego.. Plus it seems that everytime i think "I'll give it another go" they have added a worse registration system. Hint, people need to be able to see t...

Re: No reader,news.telstra.net since IP change.
My understanding is that you'll need to get Telstra to allow the new IP range access to their news server -
Naah, Exetel broke it.

Re: IP Address change - Discussion
I would like to hear a reason as to why they can not restore it. I...

Re: IP Address change - Discussion
Disconnected and reconnected the modem-router and the new IP address came up and was accessible. What is missing is being able to download articles from telstras usenet service; reader.news.telstra.net . None since IP change. One clients says that access is denied. other does nothing. can this be fi...

Is it just a quirk of my modem-router, or did some IP not get changed?

Pan - using other news providers
In the last upgrade (Debian etch) of Pan, to 0.119, it has lost the capacity to switch news servers. I can enter multiple servers, but not select any but the first.
Bit of a problem atm as reader.news.telstra.net has stopped respoding and nntp.aioe.org seems to now be down permanently.

Thanks Corey, turned out o be channel chatter. Both the netgear and dlink are working fine. Things were simpler when it was wavelans and early days. Now there is so much other crap around operating in these bands. Kinda of funny when about four years ago I could get an 8km line of sight connection b...
