Re: Email Address Deleted But Senders Still Can Send Mail! W

I've contacted Exetel several times and they keep insisting the email address was deleted but wouldn't confirm if they would stop further incoming emails. By default they should stop all incoming emails on a deleted email address because this is the only way to tell the sender(s) that the email add...

Re: Email Address Deleted But Senders Still Can Send Mail! W

Thanks. My complaint is not about Exetel did not delete my account. I can confirm they did because I am unable to log in to webmail. My concern is after my email account is deleted, people can continue to send emails to a deleted account. They should not be able to and Exetel has a responsibility t...

Re: Email Address Deleted But Senders Still Can Send Mail! W

I suggested a direct no-programming-needed method of checking, for all operating systems, that does not need a third party like verify-email.org, as well as a very simple method - Exetel webmail, at https://webmail.exetel.com.au/src/login.php. I hoped it would be helpful. If you can log into the ol...

Re: Email Address Deleted But Senders Still Can Send Mail! W

From that demo, the account appears to exist. Why use a third party, though, to run a telnet connection? Try the address by webmail, to see if there is a response, and also by telnet directly: To test existence, from a terminal/prompt window: telnet pop3.nsw.exemail.com.au 110 user your-email-addre...

Email Address Deleted But Senders Still Can Send Mail! Why?

I deleted an email address more than a month ago. Although I've tried my best to notify all my contacts (several hundreds of business & personal contacts) of change to new Gmail address, there are people who didn't receive my notification or forgot about it and continued to send to my deleted email ...

Re: adsl2 selective website connection issues

This problem appears to have gone away for now. Wonder how long it'll stay good. I'm able to connect to internet radio live365.com now which I couldn't for the last 3 days. I don't know how to do ping. The only way I find out if this problem exist for me is to do a Google image search. If all image ...

Re: adsl2 selective website connection issues

I am experiencing the same since Saturday 27 Jun 2009. I can access sites like google.com.au but when I click certain links in Google News, they either don't load or just hangs there. Surprisingly, this morning there's a news that is linked to Ninemsn.com.au and the page just would not load and this...

Is SPAM filtering no longer available?

I like to subscribe to Exetel's spam filtering service. Had logged on to services and click the View Email Account link. I can only find "change password", "delete" & email setup buttons - NO spam buttons at all. How do I subscribe this service then?
