Re: Telephone Conference Room From Exetel

I tried a couple of times a while ago to hold an 8 way audio conference using Oztel, but it had bandwidth problems and consequently not only stuffed the idea but now the participants are very loathed to try it again. can the server handle say 8 to 10 participants without issues? Can we have the faci...

Not correct.

Some do, Most Don't!

Check out the Whirlpool Wiki, I started the page on Local Number Portability ages ago when I was researching this.

Exetel, The Innovator, not the immitator

I would say the following setup would be ideal * keep peak & off-peak shaping separate. IE only shape peak at the peak limit and off-peak at the off-peak limit (as already mentioned in this thread) * give users the option to set a default option in their control panel. * allow users to change their ...

Yep I've had a FWD account since way before exetel existed. I had a SPA3000 back then, but since it died I replaced it with a Netcomm NB9W hooked it up to Exetel VOIP and it has been absolutely flawless. I'm happy to be on Exetel VOIP. I don't have MNF. If exetel can enable this then there is no nee...

I'm not presuming anything other than returning the whole pdf would be easier than just the first page.

Is what I'm asking unreasonable?

No. Because I might send several faxes to the same number. I need to know confirmation which one got through. I would presume that just returning the same pdf with the confirmation would be the easiest code fix to resolve the problem. Picture this, when I send a fax using a fax machine I like to att...

Fax Confirmation Emails

With a normal fax machine the confirmation page sometimes contains the first page of the sent fax as a record of what you sent. I would like to see the pdf you emailed contained in the confirmation email so you can keep that as a record of what was faxed. specially if I had sent the fax from work or...

Have you tried making calls between two Exetel VOIP accounts? They are in fact free AND you do not require a DID just dial the 093xxxxx number you have been allocated. Enjoy! That's correct. But my friends in the UK use a UK provider because all their friends use the same provider or one that peers...

peering with other VOIP providers

Does Exetel have any peering connections with other VOIP providers.

FWD (Freeworld Dialup) would be good.

Or via a URI IE 09111111111@sip1.exetel.com.au

It makes it easier for overseas friends to call us via their VOIP accounts

Brian.
