Hi Dazzeled and thanks for your speedy reply. No this has only started happening since we changed modem/router. We had a thunderstorm here in Perth a while back and his voIP just died, no dialtone nothing. His service was still payed up and active, so I spent quite some time trying to figure it out ...

Re: Exetel/VoIP/PSTN switch
Thanks for your replys people. It all seems a bit confusing with this new Billion. The last 2 modems I had (both on Exetel VoIP), all I had to do was hit # twice and the normal AU landline dialtone would sound. It dosn't work like that with the Billion

Exetel/VoIP/PSTN switch
I have a ADSL2/VoIP account with Exetel and am using a Uniden XDECT 7055+1 handset on a Billion 7800vdox modem/router My question is how to I flick between VoIP call dial tone or the PSTN/Optus dial tone when choosing how to route my call. At the moment, I think its stuck on the VoIP dial tone. Not ...

VoiP keeps unregistering
Hello all. I have an Exetel VoiP service and an ADSL 2 service on my Landline. I have noticed that every time I have come to use the VoiP service on my landline, I get no VoiP dial tone or PSTN dialtone (on pressing ##) When I log into my router, its shows as VoiP unregistered. The only way I can re...

Setting up the Netcomm NF3ADV
Hi all, just a couple of quick questions as I'm having problems in registering my new VoIP Modem Router. For the username do I put in my AU landline number or my Voip number? What do I put in for Realm, Domain, Proxy Server and registrar? Is it 58.96.1.2? Do I enable "Use outbound server"? and what ...
