Re: TELSTRA door-knock / churning

Thanks ShaminG for your response. I was pretty sure that I was being 'spun a line'. Dazzled - yes, they can get pretty 'creative' with the truth. My wife has had them turn up and _demand_ to see our phone + internet bill(s) so they can 'do a better deal'. Of course, with Exetel (and I am a fairly lo...

TELSTRA door-knock / churning

G'day, just had (again!) a chap knock on the front door wanting me to churn to Telstra's ADSL2+. I am in Kariong, NSW (KRIG) which means that the only supplier to the estate is Telstra, however I am with Exetel who are reselling ADSL 2+ to me :) What concerns me, is that each time they have started ...

Re: Moving house - how to keep telephone number?

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

OK, seem to be getting 'mixed messages' here. First message is - "change will come into effect on "first of July", not 'first of June" Second message is - "change is effective as of "first of June", *but* there is an issue with the change". If the first, then I will leave 'NetUsage Meter' alone :') ...

happy to pay up :')

G'day, I think this is a great idea - especially if Exetel are still making a buck out of it - I find it near impossible to comprehend how our ISP can offer excess 1GB at $3 and others are charging (what was it?) $1500/GB (IIRC) - I wonder if that is ex-GST? ;') (rhetorical question) Anyway, I am *m...
