Re: Porting from Optus Business to Exetel Mobile

Do I need to call up provisioning to get anywhere? Why is it that I have to chase this up after having called provisioning 3 times and written on this forum? How hard is it to get the information right on both sides (Optus and Exetel) to get the port happening? 3 weeks wait is getting to be a bid ri...

Re: Porting from Optus Business to Exetel Mobile

Does the provisioning team reply to emails? Or is it better to call. I feel like I'm going around and around in circles to get my second number ported. The first number has successfully portrd, yet the second number which was on exactly the same Optus business account does not port. From my conversa...

Porting from Optus Business to Exetel Mobile

Hi, I have requested my two numbers to be ported from my existing Optus Business plan to Exetel's mobile plans last week. I have already received the new SIM cards from Exetel last Thursday and Friday, and also activated the new numbers from the members facility as soon as I got the SIM cards. Howev...

Re: Mobile activation still down?

Hi,

I tried emailling provision to find out the progress of this issue.
Should I be raising a job ticket?

Also is it better for Provisioning to give them a call or communicate by email?

thanks

Re: Mobile activation still down?

Just to clarify, he was porting his mobile number from Vodafone to Exetel. New sim card arrived so I called provisioning to get it activated. I was told yesterday around 5:30pm that it would take 4 hours to activate. And it is still not ported according to my father-in-law this morning. I also check...

Mobile activation still down?

Hi,
could you let us know if the mobile service activation is still having problems?
I have activated my father-in-law's new sim card yesterday over the phone but he is saying the switch over still has not happened.

thank you.

who do I contact for noise on wireline?

Hi, I am currently on the OT30 which I believe is the bundled Optus telephone and ADSL. Recently we have been having really bad noise on the line, and I wanted to know who do I contact to have the noise problem looked at. Do I just deal with Exetel telephone support, Optus or Telstra to have the noi...

moving out but needing 2 services setup

Hi guys, I wasn't sure if this is the best place to post this. However, I have recently moved out of our in-laws place and am in need of setting up a new ADSL2 service. My current problem is that the ADSL service setup in my in-laws house is under my name. I would very much like to take this account...

Re: The Exetel 5-year club

My first attempt at joining Exetel was back in 13/3/04, but I got knocked back about 3 times because of incompatible line conditioning. I remember being very frustrated at Telstra but it was too far back to remember the exact details of it. I think if the posts have not been deleted, my enquiries ma...

Re: speed enquiry

The problem is, I don't use p2p and I am relatively certain that I don't have any viruses on my PCs at least my upload usage suggests normal use. I think as suggested it may simply be down to my billion modem not being good enough or just plain faulty. I was so sure I wouldn't have problems with it ...

Re: speed enquiry

The thing is I don't have constant problems with it... And I don't do p2p except on the odd occasions for a linux distro (actually I'm due to download one for fedora 10 in just over a week :) OT: but could we get an image uploaded to the mirror for download of fedora 10 when it comes out ?) Like las...

Re: Gidget

Hope you get a bonus for Christmas! (I mean from your real work, not your volunteering work here in the forums.... ) I have been with Exetel since the very first year of its operation, and I think I was one of the first to join this forum (maybe my memory is slipping a bit as I hit my mid-thir...
