Re: NBN (FTTN) Dropouts / lag / Time-outs

Excellent and thanks for the prompt response!

The initial issues have been resolved. I will continue to monitor from here. Thanks again.

NBN (FTTN) Dropouts / lag / Time-outs

Hi Exetel, I had been delaying changing to NBN (FTTN) as I was expecting it to be bad, although I was not expecting it to be THIS bad! I can barely use standard internet browsing due to time-outs: most sites have to be refreshed 5-10 times before they will even load. I can only intermittently login ...

Re: Usage Email is Incorrect?

Have also had this email today, which stated I'd used "over 100%" of my peak allowance, though when checking in user facilities it shows I've used only 25%.

Should I just ignore this email for now?

Re: Cannot call some Sydney numbers

It makes no difference if I use the 02 prefix or not.

Special calls

Hi.

I was just wondering why 13 xx xx numbers are included in 'Special calls', and thus not included in the mobile cap?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: Cannot call some Sydney numbers

Bump. As stated: I'm using a Netcomm NB9W, and have problems calling Sydney numbers. Either the phone rings, the person answers and it hangs up straight away, or it rings, they cannot hear me, and thus then hang up. Would appreciate it if someone could give me some help/advice please. Thanks, Michael.

Re: Cannot call some Sydney numbers

No, I have a Netcomm NB9W.

I have no problems when I call other rural locations, only to Sydney numbers.

Cannot call some Sydney numbers

Hi, I have been using Exetel Voip for >12 months now. I live in rural NSW, and rarely call Sydney. However, I've had to more frequently recently, and for some numbers it doesn't work. I call the number, it rings, the person picks up, and they cannot hear anything. I can hear them, but they cannot he...

Re: Usage Meter and GPRS

Hasn't been appearing on my usage meter.

I'm assuming it's not free. Just wondering if it will show up?

Usage Meter and GPRS

Hi,

Just wondering whether this shows up on the usage meter? I've used some (not much, but some) GPRS data with my exetel mobile, which is on a cap plan, although it doesn't appear to have shown up in my usage meter.

Cheers,
Michael.

Re: 'Number you have called is not in service'

Appears to be working now. Thanks! (However you scared me with that email which said there was no expected time of fix...)

Could they have a look at mine too seeing as though it is also still doing the same thing?

Thanks.

Re: 'Number you have called is not in service'

My current settings: I have call divert active for when I'm busy, and when I don't answer, etc, and it is diverting to number: +61414121000

Is this correct?

'Number you have called is not in service'

I recently ported my mobile over to Exetel, and set up my voicemail yesterday. However, when calling my mobile, it doesn't divert to voicemail, but rather gives me a recorded message: "We're sorry, the number you have called is not in service. Please check the number." My mobile phone rings, and I c...
