Help for Galaxy S/Z15 please
I have a new Galaxy S (first time with this type of phone) and a new Exetel mobile plan (Z15). 1) If I call my Exetel DID does this call come under the Exetel to Exetel included calls? I thought it would have but on the billing no Exetel to Exetel calls are showing up, so does Exetel to Exetel mean ...

Re: Latest ADSL2 Change
I am "opted in" to receive such notifications via email (New plans or changes to plans) but I never received any notification that my plan would be changed (Notifications for some things do work as I receive the monthly newsletter and information on maintenance). As an aside, I reset my notification...

Re: Can't access internet outside exetel
I'm not sure if this is related to the connection problems users have been having but last night, Sat 21st, ~9 PM I lost internet and email. Prior to that both were working. I have an NB9W and so I also have VOIP with Exetel. Everything on the VOIP side was still working, as far as I could tell. I p...

Re: NB9W problem
It could be a faulty power supply. I've experienced this before where the power pack was making a buzzing noise. See if you know someone how can loan you a know working supply to test your modem. If it is the power supply buy one from Netcomm, as they are a switchmode power supply & the ones you ca...

Re: NB9W problem
Have you tried taking the incoming PSTN calls from a phone plugged straight into the wall point, just to rule out a PSTN line problem? Switching to PSTN is normally done by dialling ##, not turning it off. Another trick is to enter a commonly called PSTN number into the second emergency number fiel...

NB9W problem
I have an NB9W and we have both landline and VOIP with Exetel. Tne NB9W is configured so that when it is switched on, outgoing calls are via VOIP. Switched off, outgoing calls are via the landline. Incoming calls can be either to the landline number or the VOIP number. The modem has worked fine for ...

OK. Thanks.
Is there somewhere on the Exetel site that lists numbers that can't be dialed by VOIP?

Dialing 125111
125111 is a number to call Telstra . I can call it OK via landline but not via VOIP. Is this a number that VOIP can't access or is the problem somewhere else?

Speed query
Below are modem stats, before and after midnight. The Exetel DSL speed test, during peak time, over many days, ranges between 3000 kbps and 8000 kbps. I've never seen it below or above this range. Off-peak time, between say midnight & 2 AM, I have never seen it greater than 1000 kbps. At 5 min past ...

Can calling number be displayed on called phone?
I have just commenced with the VOIP R service. I have an NB9W. In the setup for the NB9W there is a setting called "DispName:". Is the number I put in here supposed to be displayed on the phone I am calling? At present if I make a call (to my mobile for example) the incoming number on the mobile is ...
