I would also like to add any site on the Gawker network (i.e the US based sites of Lifehacker, Gizmodo, Kotaku, etc). Those sites timeout as well.

I too have been experiencing the same problem. I can't access Steam, Dropbox or EBgames. Every other sites that I have visited works pretty well. Although, if I try and browse a site through Steam's internal browser, that works pretty slow too. Is there anything wrong?

Forget the last point. I entered the DNS and I can connect to the net now, but the original problem still exists.

Well, two problems here.

1. The issue existed long before I added the DNS servers. They were there to see if the situation improved.
2. The ones you gave me. I can't connect to any webpage until I removed them.

Right, I've just done my MTU and there is absolutely no change. I still can't connect to AIM and ICQ and some sites keep crapping out. It seems that this is very specific. As if I'm being blocked by a firewall or something but not on my end. The network around this house are 3 computers connected to...

I'm using a Speedstream 6520 so I don't really know how to set the MTU on that one.

What do you mean by network setup and ipconfig output?
