Re: ADSL 2+ Speeds inn off peak
Yes it's quite bad (Parramatta ADSL2+). This is typical of off-peak ADSL2+ with Exetel. Re: ADSL2+ achieving barely ADSL speeds
Yeah, it's a lot better now.

Still, I don't think it should ever get as slow as it has been getting lately. Exetel should do something to fix the problem.

I'm also getting extremely bad speeds at the moment. Parramatta exchange. ADSL2+. 10000 kbps line sync.

It's now afternoon and I'm back to normal speeds:

Off peak is not working out and is not good enough. Is Exetel going to do anything to fix the problem?

By the way, I'm on ADSL2+ and in Parramatta (Sydney). Off peak is practically unusable at times.

Re: Intolerable slow speed during the offpeak time
Exetel is very slow during off peak periods. Youtube is unusable and http downloads are very slow. I don't use torrents. The way to fix the problem is for exetel to halve the off peak quota so that less data flows through the network. Edit: Here's my current speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/resul...

My parents are in the same situation so I have kept them on 512 kbps adsl1, but wireless broadband is starting to become an option.jayday wrote:Any chance of obtaining any faster services?JasonM wrote:In your case it is a RIM or subexchange, your line is connecting to WHEH (sub exchange / RIM).

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP
Current INC customers in the near future can opt to transfer their PSTN to VOIP, however, in doing this, it will leave their line as a naked ADSL2 service. What you're requesting would mean after doing this, then re-activating the telephone with a new number, which we can do but would cost an addit...

Re: $15.00 PSTN Line Rental On Optus ADSL2 Plans
I'm also on INCPHONE A ($65 18GB). I'm confused about the INCPHONE A plans compared to the current plans. Are we better off changing to a current plan?
