Hi, Does the customer referral scheme apply to applications made before 31 August even if they are not provisioned and accepted until after 31st August? Because my friends current month with another provider end on the 28th August, so he doesn't want to disconnect that 'til near that date, but given...

I have received the refund.

I'll have to try again with the dynalink modem, and go through the process of update firmware and hard reset and see if it fixes the prolems.

Lets hope that will at least gets some response.

For my part, i've seemingly had some small improvement. Lag not as long and occassionally no lag.

Hopefully, someone at exetel or dynalink will take some interest in retifying this problem.

It actually is 6 to 10 seconds that the person receiving the call can't hear. But it seems to be 6 to 10 seconds from when it starts to ring. ie. if it rings for 10 seconds or more then the person receiving the call can hear immediately. I sopke too soon. for some unknown reason i had 2 calls work properly on saturday, but not since.

It seems since this brief outage this morning, the lag has gone away. tested on a few calls. No lag!!

Any one else noticed an improvement?

I had my first call to a landline number go through without a lag just a minute ago. I was so excited, then i realised it was because my voip had somehow deregistered itself, so it was a ptsn call.

As yet, I haven't been given any solution. The only reason that i've found why it's intermittant is because it seems to be the time from when the phone starts dialling. Mobiles work fine because it takes longer to connect. Landlines work if the phone rings more than 4-5 times before being answered. ...

I've got the same hardware(dynalink rta1046vw), and the same problem. It seems to be whenever i call landlines that i get a delay of about 10 seconds before the person i'm calling can hear me.

Any solution?
