Re: Customer Referral Scheme

Hi, Does the customer referral scheme apply to applications made before 31 August even if they are not provisioned and accepted until after 31st August? Because my friends current month with another provider end on the 28th August, so he doesn't want to disconnect that 'til near that date, but given...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

Thanks Jason,

I have received the refund.

I'll have to try again with the dynalink modem, and go through the process of update firmware and hard reset and see if it fixes the prolems.

Regards,

Justin

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

After being one of the early ones to find problems and trying every firmware upgrade available i have finally given up and bought a netcomm NB9WMAXX from exetel. The NB9WMAXX is working perfectly on day one. My experience with the Dynalink RTA1046VW, I found even after hard resets, upgrade firmware ...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

Wow, I hope that was some kind of really bad joke. 7 pages of complaints and rather than looking at what's been attempted to resolve this specific problem, you direct me to a generic troobleshooting page that isn't working... Not real funny. I'm on my 2nd dynalink rta1046vw, first DOA, 2nd has inter...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

Lets hope that will at least gets some response.

For my part, i've seemingly had some small improvement. Lag not as long and occassionally no lag.

Hopefully, someone at exetel or dynalink will take some interest in retifying this problem.

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

It actually is 6 to 10 seconds that the person receiving the call can't hear. But it seems to be 6 to 10 seconds from when it starts to ring. ie. if it rings for 10 seconds or more then the person receiving the call can hear immediately. If it rings for 2 seconds then it's up 8 seconds of silence be...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

I had my first call to a landline number go through without a lag just a minute ago. I was so excited, then i realised it was because my voip had somehow deregistered itself, so it was a ptsn call. :(

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

As yet, I haven't been given any solution. The only reason that i've found why it's intermittant is because it seems to be the time from when the phone starts dialling. Mobiles work fine because it takes longer to connect. Landlines work if the phone rings more than 4-5 times before being answered. ...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

Hi,

I've got the same hardware(dynalink rta1046vw), and the same problem. It seems to be whenever i call landlines that i get a delay of about 10 seconds before the person i'm calling can hear me.

Any solution?

Many thanks

Justin
