Re: MoIP + SMS over IP...Finally Released

HI we can't compare website loading versus VOIP over 3G. VOIP is real time traffic and need steady network connections and enough bandwidth, If you are having trouble with your exetel 3G service I suggest to log a fault with support There's no problem with your voip service according to the testing...

Re: MoIP + SMS over IP...Finally Released

Hi The routing change was done today to see if its resolve the issue. Can you check the internet connectivity of the device that you are using for VOIP is steady and have enough bandwidth. I dont find any reason for failing calls from our side. I suspect it may cause by codec settings in MOIP App, ...

Re: MoIP + SMS over IP...Finally Released

Hi I just made a routing change to your service , can you please check the service and let us know the outcome ? Hi pasanm, I made multiple attempts. 1) Some of the time the call would not even connect, though it would call at the receiving end. And some of the time I can hear some un -intelligible...

Re: MoIP + SMS over IP...Finally Released

Could you please update this thread with the ticket reference number that you mentioned. So anyone could check the ticket and provide you an update. :) The ticket number as 4442214. I had to call back tech support because I forgot on which scrap of paper I scribbled that down on :) He also said tha...

Re: MoIP + SMS over IP...Finally Released

I've been having problems with the Exetel MOIP on my Nokia e63. For a while it worked reasonably well. But then after a few months it stopped working. I was too busy to look into it (work) so I used my Exetel 3G account. That cost me a hefty amount for about 4 or 5 months. Far more than I factored w...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

Hi satyr I have a question about the new OCV200 plans with 'uncrippled' pstn phone lines. I would appreciate definite answers from an Exetel staff who obviously knows the answers, rather than helpful forum mods that might also know, but I'd prefer answers from authorities I can base decisions on of...

Re: Plan mix up and VOIP charge!?

You will need to email billing@exetel.com.au about this. Billing queries can not be dealt with via the forums and *must* go through the Billing department via email. If you don't get a satisfactory or prompt response, you can email resolution@exetel.com.au to follow up on your query. Thank you for ...

Plan mix up and VOIP charge!?

Today I received an email saying I will be charged $15 for VOIP on my HSPA WMP plan. When I signed up for HSPA WMP late last November I was on the phone to the Sales staff and distinctly remember going over this and other particular details with them. I signed up for the $0 monthly DID VOIP plan! Ev...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

Wolverine, satyr, I still didn't get a reply to my question. If we choose not to take up these new plans, will we eventually be forced off our current naked plans and put onto one of these plans? Am currently on NF/21NoTel and don't wish to change to any PSTN plans. Thank you. Not as far as I'm awa...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

Special Offer To Current Exetel “Naked’ Plan Users Unfortunately these new plans will cost me around $15 more a month and offer me nothing new that I need. I'm currently on ONB - $45 / month (+$3 Admin fee) with 5 GB / "Unlimited" Naked. I don't need more than 5 GB peak. And I have VOIP with anothe...

Re: Third party VOIP with Exetel HSPDA on mobile phone?

Oh, and as the title suggests. Just in case my VSP does not offer telco access [IE their plans may assume we already have Optus/Telstra/Voodoophone mobile plans and just use VOIP on that], can I get the Exetel HSPDA WMI, pay the $5 monthly, block outgoing mobile voice and sms, and use my third part...

Third party VOIP with Exetel HSPDA on mobile phone?

I'm naked with Exetel [fear not fellow readers, I am wearing tighty whities], but I have my VOIP thru another VSP [VOIP Service Provider]. I've had this other third party VSP since my days with Chariot [the ancient Greeks version], and their service beats Exetels VOIP hands down. But I'm not here to...
