You are staff, please chase it up. It seems i have been charged for the plan changeover twice. I would like a refund asap.

Re: Another porting away from exetel request for acct no.
I don't need my account numbers, I have already given my account number to my new provider, for some reason exetel are acting dumb saying they've not received requests. How many times do I have to ring your provisioning department. This is leaving a very sour taste in my mouth dealing with this rubb...

Re: Another porting away from exetel request for acct no.
Having the same problem, is there a secret reason why they aren't giving out our account numbers?
Alot of people leaving exetel, you'd think they'd have a change of heart and keep their plans the same.

Re: Porting number away from Exetel
I'm having the same trouble! I refuse to pay double the amount for a service I'm barely getting the same for. My new company Vaya has sent numerous requests to exetel to port my number, exetel say they've not received any requests for my number, so who is lying. It has been 8 days and I'm still stuc...

Exetel poor customer service & attitude
It is quite sad that I have to write this post, but i have been left with no choice. I have been a long term customer of Exetel, 6 years. We started out with an internet plan, we put up with the slow speeds, we put up with them always blaming my equipment or the phone line, that is line one of the h...

Samsung Galaxy Ace problems with exetel
I have just bought a new unlocked Galaxy ACE, put in our Sim from Exetel & when the phone turns on it asks us to select a sim service, Virgin mobile or Yes Optus. We have called Exetel & what they have asked us to do does not work. We just want to use the Exetel phone connection & internet that come...

Re: Excess charges for using Optus service
So as a follow up, today I spoke with the tech dept. He took me to a place on my tablet that I had never been before. APN, it turns out that the Sim must have selected some Optus services (as it is an optus service at the end of the day), so it picked up an optus network, when the Sim was used for t...

Excess charges for using Optus service
I hope someone can help me, I have had a text saying I will be charged $100 for using 65MB of downloads on the Optus network. I have a monthly $15 plan with Exetel, which has 1.5GB of downloads included. The only time I use the internet on this service is when I put the sim into my Glaxy tab to use ...

Corey, I swore to myself that I woudn't get involved in replys with you guys, been down that line a few times & you say the same things every time, never once has one mod ever, ever said this could be the fault of Exetel, ever. Isn't that what forums are for?. The guy want help with his decision, I have shared my experience. I'm shocked that you suggest I ask for help with MY equipment, didn't I say one of you would say it's a problem at my end? As for why i haven't tried to get this fixed with Exetel, well here is the cut...

Re: Switching from 256kbps to 1500kbps plan
I changed to the 1500kbps plan about a year ago, since then I have only achieved that speed for 2 days, in that time. Somehow, on Sunday morning I was cut off from the network & my modem settings also had dissapeared. One of the ladies at Exetel help sorted it out for me & I was back up and running,...
