What's the best way to go from ADSL2 to NBN

I'm moving into a new residence where NBN is available. What's the easiest way to "port" from my current connection to NBN?

Should I just apply as normal to NBN to new residence then cancel ADSL at my current residence?

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

What's interesting is that this is the inverse of what's happening in the US - there are moves to set download limits by a number of US ISPs, and the users are complaining loudly at being forced to limit themselves to, for example, 250GB in a month. This is despite the fact that the average downloa...

Semi-Naked DSL Dialtone but cant call

The short version of the issue: ------------ I am at a new house and ordered Naked DSL. Got phoneline activated by Telstra where I could make/receive calls and now due to the pending transfer, the phoneline has a dialtone, still with Telstra, but can't make or receive phone calls. Previously, when I...

OK, I assumed the FF Net Usage Plugin was using that link in its previous version, didn't realise it was scraping the members page previously. I'm on Naked but I do have a username based on the phone# I used to sign up. I can also confirm the username/pw combo I'm putting in is the same as my origin...

I can log into Member Facilities with no problem with un/pw but can't get https://www.exetel.com.au/members/usagemeter.php? to work. Was working as of last week.

I just used another email address. The fax doesn't output the email address or Sending ID name so doesn't really matter about a businessy email address.

OK, it appears the error is on my end. Had a bit of a google and it appears the mail server at work has implemented something called BATV (Bounce Address Tag Validation) to deal with bounce back spam. BATV is a very simple trick to deal with what's known as spam bounce blowback. As an example, I ope...

Email To Fax Failed

Yep, yet another thread on a failed fax. Just signed up for the fax service today and I thought I did everything correct but maybe I am missing something. For the purposes of privacy: Registered: un: Firstname.Lastname@mycompany.au pw: password Sent email to 0312345678@fax.exemail.com.au Subject: pa...
