I have the same issue on Optus DSLAM. Is it possible for me too to switch to Telstra?

Please update your web site: http://www.exetel.com.au/broadband/adsl-features No excess quote charge "Rather than charge you for additional data downloads once you’ve hit your monthly allowance, we shape the speed of your service to an industry fastest rate of 1M/384k. Re: NSW outage
Like a lot of people I have been experiencing drop outs for a couple of, maybe three, weeks now. I've been online and noticed I'm not alone and there is a general maintenance announcement about it so I have not bothered to raise a ticket. My patience is running thin though. Tonight it's worse than e...

Re: DNS Fails intermittently
It occurred to me today that I have not noticed any DNS issues over the last couple of weeks. I'm very pleased this has finally been fixed but also very disappointed it took so long, and that Exetel (and fanboys) kept denying there was any issues on their end. I was so close to moving to another pro...

Re: Issues Monday afternoon.
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your help Dazzled. I too was using google's dns servers. I started using them to resolve a previous dns issue with ncsoft sites not propergating to this part of the world. Something is obviously very messed up with the google dns servers today.

Re: Issues Monday afternoon.
I'm also having issues with several sites including http://www.smh.com.au. In fact most news sites seem to be not responding for me yet many other sites are fine like google. It seems quite random. It's like they are victims of a DoS attack but it's very broad and is affecting Australian and UK site...

Pro-rata billing
Hi, I was wondering if on termination of a mobile plan you have pro-rata billing of the final month? I could not find anything about this on your wiki although it does mention pro-rata billing of the first month (http://exewiki.exetel.com.au/index.php?title=Billing_-_General_Information#How_is_first...

Re: New 12 months contract when changing plan
Thanks for the clarification. In that case the T&Cs are incorrect and need updating. I think I'll wait for a time when I can change without incurring a new 12 months contract. Not that it makes much difference as I've been with Exetel for over 5 years but I prefer being contract free.

New 12 months contract when changing plan
If I elect to change plan, even to a higher priced one, it currently says it will be a new 12 months contract plus it will cost $20 to change plan. However on confirming the plan change one of the fine print items contradicts this: "I understand that a speed change or an allowance upgrade/downgrade ...

Re: Off peak usage transferred to Peak usage.
This appears to be fixed now. On the experiment day the 3GB of downloads is now back in the off-peak usage column. All other days have been adjusted too and I've had 20GB of peak usage moved back to off-peak. Thanks for the quick response from the dev team. It's a little disconcerting this could hap...

Re: Off peak usage transferred to Peak usage.
Not sure of it's related but I also notice a small amount of peak upload/download in the morning even though peak doesn't kick in until 4pm. It's usually only around 10MB so I've never worried about it but something is not quite right with the allocation of peak/off-peak usage.

Re: Off peak usage transferred to Peak usage.
Thanks. Yes I know what my peak and off-peak times are and it correctly reports this in the Members Facilities Home page, which is why it's bizarre that 3GB of downloads done between 1pm and 4pm gets transferred to Peak quota. As I said if I check my usage details it now shows only 2MB of off-peak d...

Off peak usage transferred to Peak usage.
Hi, I'm having a bizarre occurrence in that at the end of the day my off-peak usage, or a good proportion of it, is being transferred into my peak usage. I noticed this over the last few days when I started to see lots of peak usage but I only download during off-peak. I monitored this yesterday by ...
