Re: Bill shock warning - mobile not dropping call

It happens when calling out only, to both mobile, landline and voip. I can replicate the issue by calling my Exetel VOIP number as well as another PSTN line. Could you please email residentialsupport@exetel.com.au including few examples with time frames and dialed numbers as I need to question this...

Re: Bill shock warning - mobile not dropping call

Have you noticed in your phone display, when the other party hang up the call, do you still see the active call before you hang up the respective call? Yes I still see the active call and the counter is rolling. Is this happens with any call or some random calls only? Do you get the issue with inco...

Bill shock warning - mobile not dropping call

This has happened twice, so I hope others take note. First my wife's phone, got a warning about over the ratio and a big overage. Last week my Mother had the same thing happen. Basically if you call out and do not actively 'hang up', even if the other end has hung up, the outgoing mobile call hangs....

Emails not getting to me.com accounts

Hi I'm using Exetel as my outgoing mail server and am finding that emails are not getting through to name?@me.com accounts.
I get no bounce notification and it has been 3 days since I sent them.
Any ideas ?

Re: Why Has My Forum Avatar Been Removed?

Lately, Exetel seems to have had a rather disturbing change of attitude towards its loyal customers, and I, for one, do not appreciate it. In fact, I'm wondering whether the forum mods might delete this post, because, if they do, it wouldn't be the first time that my criticism of a technology compa...

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

In the my rolls royce user panel, the pulldown link for speed test http://www.exetel.com.au/speed/ just dumps me back to http://www.exetel.com.au. Can we have the old web site back please….

Blocking PSTN nuisance calls

We have been receiving late night calls on our home/office Optus PSTN line from a woman with mental health issues. From a basic google it appears that the only avenues Optus offers are to go to a silent/unlisted number which is useless for a business number, or take police action to have her phone d...

Re: New website glitches

Logged in to 'myexetel' to check on the progress of a support ticket, cannot find an obvious link. So I try pulldown tab 'Additional Info' , click on 'Support Help'…this just takes me back to the index page….Doh...Catch22. Please pull it down, get it right and then try again. Also dump all the myexe...

Re: New website glitches

I knew a new layout was coming, but oh dear! Unprofessional. Why fill the page with rubbish banners like "Awesome"? …. We don't all have teenage eyesight. I'll second that emotion…. Looks like someone from an advertising agency has had a go. Yes I know I can use the old site, but how long will para...
