Thanks Jason. I had no idea. I will have to wait for the helpdesk to log a call into Optus.

I have a Naked service here in Queensland that is serviced via Optus. It is currently on the fritz and I have a help call logged (1490177). But in my own fault finding I disconnected my router from the wall and connected the phone back up to hear if there was static on the line, a common problem in ...

Re: Multiple login

Guys I can confirm that I have done this with a Billion two ports single login. The second line can be called out on but it does not seem to ring and it does not ring if you are on the primary line when a second call comes in. I experimented and found this so it may be worth doing on yours.

Re: Lot of issues getting to Yahoo

I have just tried to get to My.Yahoo.com.au and to http://www.abc.net.au and the same issues exist but now at work they work immediately with no issue. I will try the MTU when I get home. I am concerned though as it was working fine till about 2 weeks ago. Then the issues started. In my book if noth...

I have notice over the last several times (1 week) I have tried to access My Yahoo that the Yahoo site is almost unreachable (only notice on Yahoo). Slower than dial up and so slow the proper interface does not load. This is only apparent at home on my adsl 2 connection with exetel. At work Yahoo is...

Re: Can't call Taxi companies in BrisVegas

I know it can be made to work because the Pizza companies have the same location based system as well the issue is usually that you need to tell the shop or call centre that answers where you are. I have friends here that use VOIP from other suppliers and they needed to wait till the registers were ...

Can't call Taxi companies in BrisVegas

Hi guys I am trying to call a taxi from my VOIP service. When I call I am told told that " This service is not available in my area or from a mobile phone". If I call from my mobile it works. It seems the taxi companies are not recognising the number range for VOIP yet. The numbers are 131924 and 13...

Re: Can't browse to my 7404VGP

This is a known problem after reviewing the Billion support forums. There still appears to be no fix other than my previous post as mine has now been up and available for 14 days (unheard of before)

Re: Can't browse to my 7404VGP

I have narrowed mine down to overloading the IP stacks with uTrorrent. It seems if you leave uTorrent at the default settings it allows more than the allowed number of connections to a single IP address. So I wind back the number of active download and upload connections possible and that reduces th...
