Re: Another plan change fee query

I have been billed the $40 plan change fee too. I have emailed billing, hopefully this can be corrected before direct debit occurs.

Re: Off Peak Plans/Restructure

Looking at the MRTG reports I would think that if you used the 2.30 to 7.30 am period for downloads you could down load up to 140 gbytes of data in 'off peak' each month without affecting any other customer's usage. That's cool that 140GB is considered reasonable. In the last 3 months I have been 1...

Re: Emal to Fax Quality

I tried to get a good quality fax and never did manage it. Now I use http://www.linearg.com/fax who are a lot more expensive but are top quality.

Re: Starcraft 2 Issue - Caching Fault

It does work fine teathering a virgin mobile phone though so I am pretty sure it's a problem on exetel's side.

Re: Off Peak Period Change

My proposal, just make off peak quota equal to peak quota for all plans. Or if being generous, 1.5 times peak quota. So for my 60GB plan I would get 90GB. For those leechers with 6GB plans would get 9GB off peak.

How fair is that?

Re: Off Peak Period Change

Exetel has always had a disproportionately large percentage of users in 'country' areas of Australia. Telstra Retail is currently carrying out yet another of its "welcome back" campaigns calling up/mailing/door knocking Exetel (and other ISP's ADSL1 customers) offering ADSL2 services at lower price...

Re: No limit = Unlimited

That's fine. They should just price plans at a reasonable rate for a fixed amount of data and forget all this 'unlimited unless you use too much then we reserve the right to cancel your account' rubbish.

Re: No limit = Unlimited

There are also a lot of plans with 'unlimited' off peak.

For example:

FP-C3 $70, 60GB Peak + 192GB Off Peak (12/7) = 252GB

I do not consider 140GB a month on an 'unlimited' off peak plan a 'serial high downloader'. Do you?
