Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)
If you were to ask me, I would tell you that I have the landline phone because my ADSL doesn't work more often than it does. I would never go naked with the ADSL service I'm getting. For the same reason, an unlimited option would be meaningless - I can't use the bandwidth I already pay for. yeah ri...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)
I honestly can not get my head around why someone would need free SMS' from their ISP My computer sends me SMSs to let me know when things happen. Additionally, my home alarm is wired to the computer and uses the Exetel interface to send an SMS when an intruder enters the house. Aaaand, when overse...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)
Over the last year or so you've shortened the off-peak hours & made them more user unfriendly and you've also removed free SMSs. You're just chipping away at your brand and I've seen many companies go down the tubes when they start doing that. I honestly can not get my head around why someone would...

Re: Adequate ADSL2 Line Filters - A Warning Story
Filters are designed to pass the low frequency telephone signal only, and attenuate the high frequency ADSL signal. That works in reverse as well with phone noise. A filter is the last thing someone with no telephone signal should do. They are only required in front of phones. That is what I have a...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)
How do I change to this Unlimited Plan? Any detail on Exetel website? My plan is NF/22INCTEL, is this a contract plan? I think I changed to it 3 months ago although I have joined Exetel more than 3 years. did you upgrade to this plan, or move house etc and set up a new plan - the NF plans are 12 mo...

Re: Adequate ADSL2 Line Filters - A Warning Story
hmmm interesting, it’s a little off topic, but I was wondering if I should be using a filter on my connection, I'm on naked ADSL2, so no phone and noise to worry about - the reason I ask is that when I put one on the line, the net drops out periodically, and I have to restart the modem. Take it off,...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)
I have a feeling at some stage we will get to point where the price you pay will be based on how and at what speed you are connected, the data won't really come into it as it is likely to be the least costly part of the actual service, like you're on 256/64 you pay $30, 512/128 $40, 1500/256 $50, n...

Hi guys We're moving house so i had to end my contract early, and hence pay the $100 early termination fee. Re: Moving house

Re: Moving house
ok, bit of an update. we are now moving into a temporary place whilst we look for a more permenant one. this raises all sorts of issues, mainly can we be bothered moving the net twice (only at this new place for ~1 month if all goes well), ending up having to pay 200 all up just for relocation fees,...

Moving house
Hi guys We have to move house soon (looking franticly for a rental as we speak) and was wondering what process and turn around times for such a event are like. We have to be out by the 11th of July (hence the frantic searching), which is half way through a service month for billing purposes, should ...
