Re: Disappointed

Hi James, I updated the plan last night and bought the additional data, only to find the speed shaping during peak time has not been lifted, the speed is fine on the off-peak time. I logged a ticket with tech support this morning, they don't know what the cause is and are looking into it - this is c...

Re: Disappointed

Hi James, Thanks for responding, I really appreciate the offer. I haven't changed the plan just this second because I was weighing up what to do for bandwidth for the next 4 days. Just to clarify - if I update the plan to unlimited, then use the "buy additional data" function in my member services p...

Disappointed

I've been an Exetel customer for roughly 10 or more years. My current plan is $55 a month for 75GB peak and 150GB offpeak. For the first time in years I hit the data limit with 4 days left to go. Logging into the website, I can see that you're now offering unlimited plans for the same price as I've ...

Re: slow sync / drop out issues

Okay, some more info...

Apparently in one of the calls to exetel, he's already performed isolation tests by plugging in the modem by itself in both the kitchen and study, whilst they perform tests. He currently has a call open with Exetel now.

slow sync / drop out issues

Hi there, I'm writing this on behalf of a friend I recommended to exetel who's not completely tech savvy in a bid to get his problems sorted. He switched his PSTN from Telstra to Exetel as well as ADSL2 and VOIP. Since joining the PSTN has been working fine, but the internet and VOIP have not. He's ...

Re: PPPoE authentication failed - help please

A question still, though maybe for another thread. I'm only syncing at 8128Kbps downstream - whilst this isn't bad, I've just churned from TPG ADSL2+ where I was syncing at 17000 kbps - I would have thought that since the exchange hasn't moved address, that I would get similar speeds... This proble...

Re: PPPoE authentication failed - help please

well nothing has changed on the status check, but somehow, everything is working now. A question still, though maybe for another thread. PPPoE authentication failed - help please

Hi all, I got an email giving me an update on my status for my new connection to Naked ADSL2+ on Thursday, within it contained all the connection information I supposedly need. I clicked on the link within the email to check the status this morning and this is what I got Exetel Submit Your Applicati...
