Re: Response Time of email to sales and provision of Exetel

I have noticed this as well, 12 days for a 'non-resolution' response. Another 4 days pending for my request to revisit the matter. Ticket #4363776.

Provisioning used to turn it over in a day up to 3 days worst case.

Cheers.

Re: AI Project Paper to Be Presented

I would like to give this a most worthwhile bump.

Congratulations those involved within SLIIT and Exetel. I trust this achievement should snowball into something incredible, most practical and appreciated by many in the future.

All the best.

Re: How To Improve Mobile Broadband Sales?

Perhaps the recent email offer strategy for VoIP could be used for Mobile Broadband? "Sign up for a 6/12 month agreement on any mobile broadband plan and get cheaper hardware, better rates or increased downloads" Also, being able to change across standard mobile broadband plans whilst on contract wo...

Re: Change Standard MBB Plan

Yikes! That is punitive. Could this be made abundantly clear on the web page? This is not in line with the policy of other (former?) ADSL/HSPA plans where you could change plans freely whilst you are on contract for a small fee. It would have been a critical reason to not buy this service if it was ...

Change Standard MBB Plan

On behalf of a close friend who recently purchased the S9 plan due to inability to receive ADSL at his residence. The HSPA members facility does not seem to allow plan changes between Standard MBB plans. Unfortunately your current plan cannot be changed Is this intended? It would be nice to upgrade/...

Re: $10.00 (or more) Discount On Wireless Broadband Plans

It would be perfect.

I know somebody (low income bracket) who is on the verge of dumping their wireline+adsl combo in favour of mobile+wireless internet combo, this will only give them further cause to.

Try setting outgoing SMTP server to mail.optusnet.com.au - it allowed sending of emails for my CAP19 plan.

Re: Why does wireless plan price keep going up?

Possible those initial prices were unsustainable.

I think the downtrend in wireless is to do with other wireless ISPs jamming as many people on as little bandwidth as possible to save costs (i.e. heavily under-provisioned).

Re: Configuration Message Received

Yes I had received the message and I had accepted after deleting all existing APNs as my phone was a tangle of APNs. No malice in doing so, however it may change a couple of your default settings which you may want to change back. No malice in ignoring it, so long as your access points are set as pe...
