Problems access DB

Hi - I was trying to setup phpbb in my free webspace and have run into problems immediately connecting to the db server. Could not connect to the database, see error message below. Access denied for user 'fwdbd6898'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I've provided the username/db name as above, and e...

Adjusted PS3 MTU

Hello - well I managed to get my PS3 to login PSN by turning the MTU down. Is this something you would expect to have to do, or is this something worth raising with residentalsupport?

Re: PS3 Update

Anyone have some pointers on getting this working? Logging into PSN alway times out for me. Tried putting the PS3 in my routers DMZ, forwarding a bunch of ports (I don't have them in front of me now unfortunately - although it not working in the DMZ gave me little hope for port forwarding to work) I...

Downtime swtiching to naked DSL

I'm currently on (according to my account page) the plan INCPHONE C.

I'm thinking of switching to a naked plan (probably NF/23NOTEL), and I'm curious to know if there will be any downtime in the change over if I go ahead with this?

Cheer,

Re: Poor P2P Speed

Can you try http://torrent.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/torrents/KNOPPIX_V6.0.1CD-2009-02-08-EN.torrent. I tested using this torrent and got speeds of 700KB/s within a few seconds. Yep that looks similar for me too - guess everyone else is just seeding poorly >< Although I am seeing some improvements (~70-80k...

Re: Poor P2P Speed

It's probably worth noting that I am aware of the 8am-12 p2p limits - but this is occurring consistently all day & night.

Poor P2P Speed

Hi all - I've noticed that I've been getting quite poor p2p speeds for the last couple of days. All my torrents seem to cap out around 30-40kps Last night I was watching a download with 15k+ seeds sitting forever on 30-40kps. I do most of my downloading during the day, but I've not noticed much of a...

Re: High latency while using Ventrilo and World of Warcraft

Over the past few days I have been getting disconnects in wow too. Randomly. Now today and tonight I can’t do shit. Every 30-60 seconds the game will lock up for around 5 seconds, as tho its going to DC but it doesn’t. Earlier tonight and today my latency was sitting at 900-3500. Now it’s down to 4...

Re: After midnight issues - WoW

Well, another week passes and I still can't play WoW after midnight. Unfortunately this is a bit of a game breaker for me - and what gets me most is - this wasn't an issue until ~2 weeks ago. What changed? If I can't get this issue resolved I will be forced to move my subscription. I don't actually ...
