Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

We are working along with our development team to make this available for our customers, hopefully within next 2,3 months time period. Hi Exetel, Just wondering how your development team is progressing? (Since it is now into the 2 months time period) Hi, This is still in progress and probably it'll...

Re: Slow ADSL speeds and given the run around by support.

Dear all, I have had the following reply on the 22/6/12: ========================================================================== Thank you for your e-mail. Please note that we have escalated this issue to our wholesale supplier. They have advised that they could find some network related issue in...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

Unfortunately, It was confirmed that Exetel will not be providing this service. Hi, We do not support National Roaming on our mobile plans. Exetel uses the Optus Network to provide mobile services which covers 97% of the population. If you are within a metro area but having bad or patchy coverage, ...

remosha wrote:If you are within a metro area but having bad or patchy coverage, we will be offering Optus Home Zone soon.
Hi,

I already have an Optus Home Zone, will I be able to add my Exetel Optus number to it soon?
I have very bad coverage at my house!

Thanks!

Re: Slow ADSL speeds and given the run around by support.

My questions now is, what is this contention problem and is it fixed or not? I was initilally told that there was a problem, it was fixed and now we are back at the there is a problem. So what is it? Is there a problem or not? I am also aware of all these P2P issues as well as slowdowns from other ...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

actually I have heard of people with other Optus resold services being able to set these up, not just Optus and Virgin, it did mean purchasing outright and a bit of mucking about to get it going, don't think it allowed any free calls but when in this situation it's really about coverage more than a...

Re: Is exetel going to offer Home zone"

Hi, I would like to echo my wish to have the Optus Home Zone device support Optus wholesale resellers such as Exetel mobiles. At this point in time the Home Zone device supports only Optus mobile and Virgin mobile numbers. :( Have Exetel made any inroads into having Optus also support Exetel mobile ...

Re: Changes to API?

Do this morning's server upgrades (affecting "Email-to-SMS and other SMS services") have any impact on the ongoing availability of the SMS API? My app built on this API, which has been working reliably for months/years, has stopped working. All the best Mark Hi Mark, I have been using your applicat...

Re: Fax Inbound Upgrades

Hi, The previous service was simply un-usable as I would continually receive half pages, only a few pages of a long fax. The sender's fax machine would always display a failed send message. This would happen irrespective of whatever fax machine the sender used. Today, I received an 11 page fax via m...

Re: Metering for pay as u go

I'm also a VERY low usage user too on NF20INCTEL (migrated from the PAYUDSL2 in Jan 2010). My usage for peak and offpeak varies between 50megabytes to 500megabytes per month. I am also unsure if the usage on the NF20INCTEL plan will be billed per Gigabyte? or prorata? The previous PAYUDSL2 plan was ...

Re: Optus ADSL2 PAYU Price Reduction

Just an update to other users, I have been on the PAYUDSL2 plan $40/month from and have very little usage <500MB every month (my parent's house). Perfect plan as it has low monthly access costs and we only use very little data. On New Year's Day, I received the following email: Exetel have converted...

Re: Only received half a page

I can say that I too have had problems receiving faxes from a number of different fax numbers. Most of the time the fax is only a partial page, and Exetel ends up emailing me a couple of times until the fax goes through properly. It is not the most instant or reliable way to receive faxes at the mom...
