Yes, I'll look at doing it that way if I can't use the direct method.

Thanks,

Hi,

I've attached a picture of the UPS program with the SMS settings tab.

SMS from UPS program

Hi,

Would it be possible to use Exetel SMS from a UPS monitoring program?

I have Upsilon2000 which can send an SMS on events, I need a server address & port no.

Then use my Exetel API Accounts Username & Password to send?

Thanks,

jenkos.

Re: Modify Usage Meter for no Peak/Off Peak users

Hi, All fixed in the latest version: An update was made to exetel such that if you don't enter a number for offpeak in preferences, it won't have offpeak. Please try the latest version: http://netusage.iau5.com/netusagebtn-latest.xpi?r308 Thanks for posting that. Keen to see what is changed in the i...

Re: Modify Usage Meter for no Peak/Off Peak users

Hi, Go to the Netusage xpi file: uncompress (unzip) it. Then in folder chrome find file netusageitem.jar . This file when uncompressed contains content/isps.js. About 600 lines down is the Exetel section. The first part of the function gets the data (both peak and offpeak). The description of the va...

Re: Modify Usage Meter for no Peak/Off Peak users

Hi, I'd say, seeing as how the instructions are on the web page there'd be no problems if someone posted a couple of lines to be added (if not even the whole thing). Add new ISP Each ISP needs to be modified to support net usage. Documentation available here also from isps.js: Copyright (C) 2006-201...

Modify Usage Meter for no Peak/Off Peak users

Hi, Is it possible to add the 2 usages together? This is from the "netspace" meter, to me looks like uploads and downloads added together to create the usage: if (vars['countuploads'] == 'y') { vars['usage'] = parseInt(vars['usage'], 10) + parseInt(vars['upload'], 10); Should be able to add the 2 us...

Hi,

Don't you change the "Start Day of Month" for that?

Re: This is a Good usage meter works well with Exetel

Hi, I've been using "NetUsage" in Firefox, which I'll still keep for total usage. As well as the fact it's displayed where you're surfing. Just yesterday I installed this: http://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/ It was more out of interest: to see different usages by the PCs on my network. The ...

Re: Naked users forgotten?

Hi, a similar cost service to the one you currently have.... Happy New Year $43 to $60 is hardly a "similar cost"! Having no use for a mobile cap, no need for an "uncrippled" PSTN line or 200GB, I think I'll pass 'til the next round of changes occur. I was once with Swift, their plans kept changing ...

Re: New Modem - Line reset required?

Hi, If you power off the modem for 20 minutes the exchange will reset the port automatically. When you power on again, the line testing procedure will commence again. An answer, thanks. Apart from tweak the SNR (and possibly experiment a little with different modem brands and firmware), nothing else...

Re: New Modem - Line reset required?

Hi,
I can change the SNR on the 7800, and am already seeing an increase in line speed from the old modem
Can the line be reset in the exchange?

Re: New Modem - Line reset required?

Hi, Actual ATT is 40.5 As I said: "I realise it will never be that high", still want the best speed possible! I'll be watching for any "ill effects". My NB6 usually stated line rate "8000 possible/7000 actual", so 12000 possible/????? actual? Who knows what's actually possible? What can be done to i...

New Modem - Line reset required?

Hi, I've bought a new modem/router (Billion 7800N) to replace my Netcomm NB6 & Linksys WRT350N. I can change the SNR on the 7800, and am already seeing an increase in line speed from the old modem, 8000 old, 9000 new (approx figures). According to adsl2exchanges.com.au I'm 1.47km from my exchange wi...
