Re: Suggestion: Your plans are terrible

If you are unhappy with the details of broadband bundle plan above, you can visit the My Exetel area of the Exetel website and select a plan before 8 July 2015 that more closely suits your needs or budget or you will have to look into other options. You're joking, right? The next plan down is only ...

Re: Suggestion: Your plans are terrible

I'm being forced up from a $70/month plan to $108/month plan with less than a month's notice.

Goodbye assholes.

Are you going to force current customers to the new plans?

Suggestion: Your plans are terrible

Hey, anyone check out the new ADSL2 plans? Especially the regional ones. What a rip-off. You've moved the 100GB plan from (including phone) $60/month to $80/month. The old 500GB plan for $70/month has disappeared but it's ok, because for only an extra $40/month you can pay $110/month to get 1TB. Rea...

Re: New Plans!

It's been 6 months since the new plans were introduced. I'm another one on the $67.50/month for 200GB, wanting to move to $50/month for 500GB, only for the cost savings. 6 x 17.50 is $105 extra spent waiting for these plans to come up for existing customers. Can we get some sort of update? At this s...

Re: Charged $220 incorrect call out fee.

Unfortunately this also means that no matter how bad my connection gets I'll never be able to call for a technician since I can't afford it. :(

I usually just wait around for someone who's with telstra to complain these days.

Re: FAQ

I would bet that M$ want it for similar reasons to uPnP .... it helps open up your console more easily and quickly, potentially giving you a great big security hole. Learn to do port forwarding, disable uPnP immediately if you have it open. Many modem/routers also have uPnP available to the Interne...

Re: FAQ

Can we please get an update on IPv6 availability? It's at the stage where Microsoft are recommending it for their new console, it's not just in the obscure background anymore. I'd like to convert as soon as it's available, preferably now. And if it's not available, a reason and hopefully a timeframe...

Re: Slow ADSL2 - New Lambton Exchange

Try living in Toowoomba where every Optus DLSAM is completely full and people sit around waiting for ports to open. I know people connected through Optus, Telstra and iinet DSLAMs and the optus ones are always slower. I'm pretty darn sure it's due to massive overuse. If you're dying for better speed...

Re: Charged $220 incorrect call out fee.

I really think it's time that Exetel started absorbing the cost of these technician visits. At least a limited amount (1 per month, 1 per 3 months, whatever). It's really frustrating to KNOW there's a problem with your line outside of your control but to fear calling tech support because you won't b...

Re: Members facilites has incorrect plans under "change plan

They've decided to change to OP300 (They'd go with AZ-A but the $100 setup fee is too much). The $40 setup fee is quite affordable and they can deal with a 12 month contract if it means changing to optus plans. If they order today, how long will it take to transfer, and if it runs into the next mont...

Re: Members facilites has incorrect plans under "change plan

PM'd. I'm looking at changing them to optus plans anyway since it will be cheaper, but I can't tell what the cost is, whether there's a transfer fee or a new setup fee. They have a phone line with telstra at the moment.

Re: Members facilites has incorrect plans under "change plan

I called sales and they seemed happy to change to AAPT 2 but they wanted a new 12 month contract! You've got to be joking. I just want to increase the quota a bit. Why does that mean a new contract? I can easily sign up another company with no contract on a brand new connection, which is looking tem...

Re: Members facilites has incorrect plans under "change plan

Last time I talked to sales about this they had no clue what I was talking about with the AAPT plans and Telstra plans, it was sorted out at the time but nobody fixed the members facility page. I was hoping someone higher up could take a look. I'll PM the service number when requested.
