Still the same slowdowns tonight here

That said, i'm pretty sure any changes made by your supplier may take a few days to take effect.

I have emailed you again via Ticket ID: 8933792. You may have to reply back with the required test results.

Re: ADSL2+ full speed only after midnight

I wonder if this is a case of oversubscription / inadequate backhaul. Even so it would be strange for the times to be so consistent... Cheers, Josh It's netflix time, prime time for streaming when people are home from work and school and the kids are in bed. And tonight its extra-special bad, becau...

Re: ADSL2+ full speed only after midnight

same problem here, max 2.2Mb down.

7pm-11pm the service is almost unusable, anything relying on streaming video or data such as gaming is completely unusable. this has been happening every single night for weeks now.

Speeds drastically slow

I saw a speed issue listed for NSW, but i'm having issues in Vic. http://www.speedtest.net/result/4232486436.png These results should be ok for gaming, but they're not. Normally i get a constant 8Mb down, 0.8Mb up - router claims 9Mb sync speed. Best i've got in the last few hours, had a lot of pack...

Re: Speeds being limited?

being limited to exactly 1MB/s (8Mb) seems a bit unlikely. my sync speeds can change, but that speed cap does not. I had a look into DSLAM stats and your service is set on highest available profile (24/1). Being the distance around 2.5 Km, the sync rate is pretty good. With the current sync rate, y...

The most you will be able to get out of your connection is 85% - 95% due to packet overheads.

Speeds being limited?

http://img.techpowerup.org/150219/Capture415.jpg My sync speeds are fairly decent at 9.5-10Mb, but in reality i seem to be stuck at 6Mb, at the absolute best i sit at exactly 0.99MB/s throughput - 8Mb. Is my connection being limited/throttled down to 8Mb somehow? edit: should note i'm a technically...

Re: Tracker connection issue

It's happening for ADSL customers too through Exetel and yet nobody (as in forum admins or moderators) are at least even posting about this to give us some form of a heads up. i submitted a fault and basically got told 'we dont block P2P! its just their nature that P2P trackers will go offline!' i ...

Re: Tracker connection issue

Use a BT client that's capable of using a proxy server (uTorrent can) Find and test a proxy server from this list: http://www.samair.ru/proxy/type-01.htm They don't all work but I've found one that does. Use that until this issue is sorted out. thank you very much man, for that workaround. edit: fi...
