Can I get an update on this also.
I wish to change to the new unlimited 8mbit plan as its $10 less than I'm paying now and was hoping to do so before the end of the month and yet the plans aren't available from the members facilities.

Re: New HSPA Plans
I actually recall John saying once previously that Optus wouldn't allow them to introduce a block page, as it was how they made their money.
Maybe with the new pricing they're changed their stance.

Re: New HSPA Plans
Is it possible to offer a plan competitive with my WM-A @ $0 a month with 1.5c/MB for data.
Now my sms's have doubled in price on my phone anything that helps keep the costs down would be appreciated.

Re: 8192/384 Plan Parameters
Does that mean there'd be a churn fee to lift the speed but we'd maintain our current plans/contracts/cost etc? I still don't think its been said whether or not upload is counted? Exetel has never counted uploads. Currently there is no plan either in use or projected that includes uploads. To move ...

Re: 8192/384 Plan Parameters
Does that mean we'd be moved from our current plans to adsl2+ plan, or retain our current plans (and contract lengths etc) but just have our speed lifted? Like what happened with adsl to adsl2+ previously... If so, the upload speed would always be welcomed..... Far too often my mum/sister are upload...

Re: New User Passwords
Is it possible that when I changed my password with exetel it automaticly changed it on my modem. Not possible whatsoever. If your ADSL password gets changed, you will need to change it on you modem yourself via the "Basic > Quick Setup page, then "Save and Reboot" button I beg to differ http://www...

Re: New ADSL2 Plan Parameters
Edit: Alternatively, do as you are suggesting (make noon to 6pm off-peak) but make it chew through the quota at 150% or 200% the normal rate. That way it is still a boost for most people, but the heavy downloaders will be kept to the real off-peak period. The only problem is, that isn't the peak ti...

Wow that new 1500X looks very tempting for my mate.
Thanks John.
Looks like I'll have to go for another walk and see if they're interested in swapping plans again lol.
