Accessing Twitter.com
Hey guys, I seem to be having issues connecting to Twitter this morning, both through the web and through my twitter client. I know it isn't PC related as both my wife's mac and my iPhone are having the same issue. When the iPhone is not connected to the wifi router it can connect fine so it seems t...

Re: Off Peak Allowances
It is a shame that due to a move in late July I'm going to miss out on these new Optus plans. We're off to a section of the Gold Coast where Optus haven't deemed it worthy to install DSLAMS yet it seems. I suspect that it would be hard to see much better value made available on the Telstra network? ...
Re: IPv6
I am also interested in this. World IPv6 Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_IPv6_Day) is on June 8th and it would be great if even a small test group could participate in some way.

Brisbane CBD Power Outages Tomorrow
Hi guys,
Any news on how the power cuts throughout the Brisbane CBD tomorrow will affect services in Brisbane or Queensland?
It would be great to have a heads up to prepare.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
I would like to thank Exetel for always trying to find the best value for money for their customers. In this case they have negotiated plans that provide additional bandwidth at similar cost to existing plans, or added benefits like free line rental and such. They have even said that they will go an...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Hi Mike Sorry if I misled you  You might still like to query Exetel directly about this, though, in light of ForumAdmin's earlier post (unless I misinterpreted it and "corporate" doesn't equal "business"). Gidget I think Mike's plan is a corporate plan in that Exetel offer the employees of a ...

Re: QLD drop outs
I know mine is down again for the second time tonight. Was only five minutes last time. Could it be to do with the large amount of rain that South East Queensland has been getting for the last few months? It's been pretty dry so perhaps there are line issues in a lot of places. Would seem strange th...

Authentication drop outs
Hi all About two months ago my net dropped out and wouldn't reconnect. It was having issues authenticating. It seemed that the radius server still saw me logged on. Last month, same issue. Both times I logged a call and tech support fixed it. Last night it happened again. It was fixed a couple of ho...

Re: Diagnosing recent packet loss.
I've noticed this recently with iView. Anything that I'm watching tends to stutter and stop every couple of minutes or so. WoW becomes unplayable if I start to do any streaming at all. Prior to say the last month or so, this was never a problem. I recently changed my IP because I couldn't access urb...

Urbanspoon.com - unable to access
Hi folks, Trying to eliminate where issues might be. I'm currently unable to access Urbanspoon.com through my exetel connection. This has been the case for the last few days. Prior to that has been ok and I can access it through my iPhone (Telstra connection.) I've run a traceroute and it seems to b...

Seems to be a drop-out in Brisbane at the moment. Or am I the only one?

Re: Passworded Forum
I think it is a shame that it is locked at all.
I signed up to Exetel after joining the forums and getting to see what goes on here. You hear the usual whiners but I realised that is what they were and that the rest looked really good.
Haven't regretted the decision yet.
