Re: Exetel Dashboard Widget

Sorry, I think I was unclear. I realise that the animation takes a while, since it waits for the updated data to be fetched. What I thought might be a more informative solution would be if the bars could show the previously downloaded data, then replace that when the new data is downloaded. It just ...

Re: Exetel Dashboard Widget

Works great for me (10.5.6, Intel MBP). Nice work with the ticks showing the amount of the month passed! Looks excellent! Some other feedback: - The animation is pretty, but the pause is a bit annoying when it activates every time the dashboard opens. Perhaps you could have the animation when moving...

Re: Exetel Dashboard Widget

Just in terms of functionality, there's a pretty good Firefox plugin called Net usage that displays some more useful statistics. In addition to graphically indicating how much of the month has passed, it also displays how much potential bandwidth remains for the month in kB/s, and also how much your...

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Ok, so the mobile meter is working now, as of either today or yesterday. It took four weeks and two days, or 30 days exactly, if anyone is interested.

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Oh, I forgot to post here... I actually did send an email to the complaints department, and was told There has been a holdup with the supply of call detail records from our supplier. These are the files we use to update the mobile usage meter. There is, unfortunately, nothing we can do about this. T...

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Just to let people know, I'm still waiting for my mobile meter to be operational. It has been 4 weeks since my plan was activated.

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Good news! How long did that take, just so I know when to expect my meter to become operational? Also, please keep us updated with your usage meter, i.e. whether it is regularly updating now...

Cheers!

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Just checked my ADSL/home phone invoice. It has a section for the mobile phone as well. The "call summary" section has 0 calls $0.00 for the month. Great stuff!!

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

After waiting 25 days for a response from the mobile phone division, I emailed complaints@exetel.com.au . I received a reply in a few days. Regarding the meter, I was told: There has been a holdup with the supply of call detail records from our supplier. These are the files we use to update the mobi...

Re: Order/port mobile service for my wife

After waiting 25 days for a response from the mobile phone division, I emailed complaints@exetel.com.au . I received a reply in a few days. I was told: To port your wife's mobile phone, you should log into your Exetel members facility and submit another order. I asked if I should fill in her details...

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Cheers for the advice, but I've sent them numerous (unanswered) emails, and currently my home phone (also with Exetel) is not working. I've only just lodged a ticket about this new problem this morning, so hopefully (?) it'll be sorted soon (I suppose they are different departments?). I didn't reall...

Re: Existing customer - New mobile service problem

Yet another bump.

It's getting pretty close to the end of the billing period. I'm most certain I will not be paying for any excess over the cap, seeing as there is no way for me to check my usage.

Yes, I'm on the Mobile CS $10 capped plan.

Did you ever receive a reply to your email from Exetel?
