Re: HSPA - Exetel are getting expensive!
Its such a shame considering their major push into wireless broadband. If they had made the plans attractive enough to the technical people, they would probably have the free advertising needed to attract more customers. If Exetel stop supporting the technical people, then they should be prepared to...

Re: HSPA - Exetel are getting expensive!
One of the primary reasons that eXetel have been so successful is the low cost / high value factor. A lot of technical people (that work in IT) use eXetel because of the high data allowances and low costs. If eXetel drive away those people by falling behind competitors offering plans more suitable, ...

Re: HSPA - Exetel are getting expensive!
The point is that for persons who require more than 5gb per month exetel becomes very expensive. Virtually all other carriers including Telstra offer plans of at least 10gb.
Price is not an issue I dont mind paying what it costs. But I wont pay 5x the actual cost in excess fees.

Re: IP Address change - Discussion
Is it possible to get several residential services converted over to business? In this case the static IP is not important but I cannot afford to lose the attached voip numbers.

Financial and business impact from this
The client has no idea about the technical setup. Staff can get in remotely from their homes, I would have to go back out and reset the modem (to pickup new IP) and then go through the home computers and laptops. Client should not have to go through that. Also regarding the following term from netwo...

Financial and business impact from this
This is really unacceptable in my circumstance. A few week weeks ago I placed a small (2 computer) business on an Exetel ADSL 1 home plan because they wanted remote access setup from home over a VPN and remote desktop. When talking to the client on the phone about various ISP's, one the great things...

******************************************Exetel*************************************************** I think its fairly common knowledge that Exetel does not make a lot of profit from individuals and because of this I am voicing my concerns over further discounts. Personally I believe that Exetel may...
