NBN activations

The NBN in our area (2SPW-22) is meant to go active on 7 Dec.

I've read it can take some time to actually become connected once the area goes live. Is there anyway to pre-apply and get the process started before an area goes live?

Re: Forward Exetel calls to Pennytell

What sort of hardware are you using for VOIP.

If your hardware allows multiple accounts to register at once it would be possible to keep your Exetel VOIP service for local inbound and outbound calls but also register a Pennytel account for when you wish to dial overseas.

Exetel Mobile Plan Specials for July

I currently have a CAP35 plan. The new members only Z15 plan looks like great value ($5 per month less for an extra .5GB of data). 1. Can we port across to this plan? 2. In the members area (order services) it says under Terms For Capped Plans - "$20.00 cost of SIM plus activation" but on the websit...

Re: New Telephone Line Provisioning - Optus Service

When will this be available... the page at https://www.exetel.com.au/adsl2_full_bundle/residential_online_form.php still says "(1) The telephone line you nominate for the bundle ADSL2 / Phone service MUST BE A WORKING TELEPHONE SERVICE." point 2 gets us to confirm the telephone service is active by ...

Re: New ADSL1 plans vs existing plans

In my members area it has the TCV20-50 plan with a plan change charge of $40 plus a 12 month contract. Is this correct? All other plans have either a plan change charge or a 12 month contract. We have changed this to be $0. Thanks Melanie... Another question... I have already moved my Line Rental o...

Is the Telstra Landline service $20 or $30.

I think you have conflicting pricing on your website pages, which is causing confusion in the forums as to the current total pricing of a bundled Telstra ADSL service. On the ADSL wide coverage (Telstra) pages http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php you have the Line Rental of a landline as ...

Move from Telstra Cable to Exetel ADSL/Phone

My brother would like to move his landline and broadband from Telstra to Exetel (Optus plans). He currently has Foxtel, landline and bigpond broadband. All services currently come through the Telstra Cable that runs down their street but they also have a regular PSTN point in the house that is curre...

Can you specify the exact model handset?
I have only recently purchased a new handset but I think the best value Android's at the moment are the Huawei range
Ideos ( I got this for $99 + $20 to unlock it)
X5 (U8800) ($299 unlocked)

or the upcoming X6 which is also rumoured to be about $350

There are no off/on peak times, just 200GB to use anytime.
