international call rate to USA for landline

Hi guys,

Just looked up your phone rates and wanted to clarify, i have the bundled ADSL2 with phone line package - are international calls to USA 10 cents per minute plus 25 cent connection fee?

So for a 3 hour call that would be around $18.25

is this correct?

thanks :)

Re: problems purchasing tickets from ticketmaster? Proxy issue?

hey all. Just wanted to state for the record that i'm not having any problems with Exetel's network during this issue. The problem seems to be higher up the OSI ladder. As it is I am still hit and miss with the ticxketmaster website - so as mentioned it seems more of a javascript issue than anything...

Re: problems purchasing tickets from ticketmaster? Proxy issue?

It seems I had a private browsing session going while my partner was trying to purchase the tickets, i'd forgotten I left the browser in that state, Im using Firefox 3.5.4 :oos: it seems transactions can not be made while in that mode, on the ticketmaster site anyway. thanks again human error prevails

Re: problems purchasing tickets from ticketmaster? Proxy issue?

William and Dazzled, Thanks helping out. I've not had a chance to look over the problem, however it seems to be working fine now, I can search for tickets and retrieve a result, albeit too late lol oh well I'm not sure what happened. i've not made any changes to firefox settings since I last posted....

Re: problems purchasing tickets from ticketmaster? Proxy issue?

Hi Munka, Thanks for the quick reply. :) When I click the "find tickets" link after choosing an event, I end up with a banner heading showing a band photo and location of event, but thats it! The rest of the page is blank, and after reviewing the error console there are quite a number of 'declaratin...

problems purchasing tickets from ticketmaster? Proxy issue?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had trouble trying to purchase tickets from ticketmaster.com.au I've read the security and technical help on their page and have also contact them, but to no avail. Then i read this : "Some online service providers, such as AOL or Prodigy, use a device called a proxy...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

Personally, I would have thought sending an email to a customer's contact address inviting comments on a suggestion was a pretty sensible way of raising an issue - but that's just me. I agree wholeheartedly, and I thank Exetel for doing so. I think this kind of customer interaction is what makes Ex...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

I am fine with this; However as already mentioned, an official reason as to why has not been given. As a benchmark ( as I for one have not received any email like this before) all details of the proposal should be out in the open, even if trivial for some.

Thanks.

Re: NSW PO TO VIC POP

thankyou for the reply Corey. I was just wondering if that had anything to do with my slow p2p transfers. Im currently receving 20kb /sec peak and around 10 offpeak, however single downloads ie AVG update reach up to 300kb /sec (and thats wireless). Im im still to do isolation and cable tests tests,...

Re: NSW PO TO VIC POP

I am having similar issues.

My IP is on the Melbourne POP, however speed tests have my location in Brisbane.

Is my IP coming out of Brisbane an issue?

thanks.
