Well, :oops: I have the filter connected directly to the phone socket in the wall. Should it be otherwise? Are you using a filter or splitter. A splitter is designed to plug into the wall socket and give you two output connections: 1 for ADSL & 1 for phone. I suspect this is what you are using and ...

Hi Varun Do you still have your phone cable connected to Line 1 at the back of the modem? If so, this is incorrect - you should be connecting it to the DSL port on the back. Can you please let us know if the ADSL light is on on the modem when you have plugged it is to the phone line, also can you please check that the phone line is plugged into the ADSL port on the back of the modem.
