Re: My Number not appearing

Now I am beginning to wonder if it is an exetel issue. I have another phone connected to my pap2t which works through pennytel - it is my backup phone. The pennytel call displayed my voip number perfectly to the recipient that could not see my number when I used my exetel phone. Why would pennytel w...

Re: My Number not appearing

Thanks Dazzled. My phone is configured to allow caller id. I am beginning to wonder whether it is the other persons setup that is the problem - not mine. They also have a voip phone with iinet. When I call my mobile number it correctly says that it is my home number calling. Thanks for your thoughts.

My Number not appearing

I use a Linksys PAP2T ATA connected to a Dynalink RTA1025W modem/router. My voip calls work just fine but people I call tell me that my voip number no longer appears on their caller id at the other end. I have entered my voip number into the ATA where it says Display Name, User ID, Use ID Auth and A...

Re: WA ADSL2 Website Issues.

I was working until about 15 minutes ago and now have NO internet access. There are no WAN or ppp lights glowing on my router. Looks like the carrier has done something in fixing up other members access but stuffed up mine completely. Hooked up to the Doubleview exchange and only 1.5km away. Ticket ...

Re: Can't access internet outside exetel

I feel sorry for you toejam. I am in your boat too. I have had my ip number changed from 58.xx to 220.xx back to 115.xx which was my original ip address before all this happened. Was working again on the 115.xx ip address before I went to bed but I wake up this am and find it is all down again and m...

Re: Can't access internet outside exetel

Yep down in WA again. My 220.xxx ip address seemed to fix up that horrible 58.xx ip issue but absolutely no internet access for me including all voip services for the last hour. Thankfully I have my telstra wireless usb as a backup so I can lodge a fault ticket with exetel support and inform other f...

Re: Can't access internet outside exetel

I spoke with Himantha on the helpdesk number 1300 788 141 using a Telstra wireless usb and $20 worth of prepay and my x lite softphone. I am now working. He tried to give me a new 56.xxxx ip address which did not work. I am now on the internet but notice that my ip address has been changed once agai...

Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009

As a Naked DSL user and a very happy one at that, I think it is essential that the "free" add ons like 100 VOIP calls especially, DID number and the SMS not be removed, charged or diminished. As our only means of landline communications the 100 free VOIP calls help keep our monthly phone bills under...

Re: Will I lose my settings

Jason, I have a dynalink RTA1025W modem/router and a linksys pap2t ata. I naturally save settings in the router by clicking on a save tab and the pap2t always says to wait while settings are being saved. So I guess I assume from this that both should hold the configuration settings even without powe...

Will I lose my settings

I am going on a holiday for a week and can see no point in leaving my wireless modem router and voip ata switched on. In fact I am being a good boy and trying to reduce my co2 output. LOL!! I figure there is no need to leave computers and other communications equipment switched on when I am not here...

Re: Can't hear the caller

No I haven't done any rebooting. How do you do that? Will all my settings in the Router and ATA be lost if I reboot?

All calls today have been error free.

Thanks for your help.

Can't hear the caller

I seem to be getting an intermittent problem beginning to emerge that hasn't been there before. I have calling on Exetel quite happily since November last year. Am using Naked DSL line. I am using a Dynalink RTA1025W router attached to a Linksys PAP2T ATA. I have port forwarded 5060 to line 1 and 50...
