Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

All good for me, another possible side benefit is this brings the on peak limit in line with the peak usage for many electric companies (2pm-8pm M-F). As many people will be moved over to time of use meters, hopefully this will be another incentive to switch off the PC for a while! :D

Re: ADSL2+ outage since 2pm 5 March 2009

For what it's worth my problem turned out to be layer 8. I re-entered my password in my router when the outage occured on Wednesday (as authentication was out), and put in the wrong one, so when the servers came back up, I couldn't authenticate

Sorry for any confusion caused!

Re: ADSL2+ outage since 2pm 5 March 2009

I'm also experiencing authentication errors when attemping to connect to the web since last night's outage. My VOIP is also not working. Is another outage occurring? Is the infrastructure being cut back over from last night's failover?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi James,

I'm still unable to order the NB12WD via the members page. Is it possible to get it added please?

Many thanks,

Re: NB12WD Support and sale by Exetel

OK James. I'd like to buy one from Exetel. How can I do this prior to it's listing via the members facilities?

Many thanks,

Re: NB12WD Support and sale by Exetel

Hi James,

I've just spoken to Kevin at Netcomm, with some other queries on the NB12WD. Apparently, your account rep is on leave at the moment, but he will get the GM to pass through the pricing to you.

Can you PM me the details when they get in contact please?

Many thanks,

Re: NB12WD Support and sale by Exetel

Is it possible to confirm whether you will be supporting this model and when they are going to give you a price?

Many thanks,

NB12WD Support and sale by Exetel

Hi, I need to replace my NB9W. Can anyone at Exetel comment on whether the http://www.netcomm.com.au/products/voip/nb12wd (next generation of the NB9WMaxx) is supported with their VOIP service (this will be the 3rd modem I've tried) and whether it will be sold soon via Exetel at their preferential p...

Re: VOIP problems with DID

Hi jok11n, Yes I did download the latest firmware (C211-S306NCM-C04_R03) when I first installed it (last week). To be honest I'm not a massive Netcomm fan either. I'm just not sure I want to buy a model that is being phased out. What I want more than anything else is something that works, with this ...

Re: VOIP problems with DID

OK, I've installed xlite and can confirm that there are no problems with either incoming or outgoing calls. It's obviously either a hardware or configuration issue on the NB9W. Assuming I've followed the Exetel config guides to the letter (which I have) is it fair to assume this is a hardware issue?...

Re: VOIP problems with DID

It's not brand new. Does this mean it's faulty? How can I confirm it is?

Surely there would be something in the logs or it wouldn't pass the status checks (which it has).

Can someone please PM me for the details and check it out?

Re: VOIP problems with DID

Hi Martin, I've now tried a corded handset with exactly the same problem. I can also tell you that I hear a clicking sound before picking up the VoIPline receiver to dial a call and then the same buzzing noise. I've tried different phone and ADSL cables and a different line filter to no avail. I did...

Re: VOIP problems with DID

Hi Martin, Thanks for your reply. I don't have a corded handset. I'm using a Doro540R+3. I will try to borrow one to test with. I've tried switching my cordless handset base station over to phone 2 using the same number (the router config will not allow an entry in phone 2 without details in phone 1...
