Re: Call forwarding

I made the change some 9 days ago and it still hasn't taken affect. When I view my wireline service in the members section it now says: "you have following pending phone settings change request created on 2012-04-04 20:11:17" Surely it doesn't take this long to activate call waiting and cal divert? :x

Re: Call forwarding

Well it was on my manage services page. Only thing I'm not sure about is it said call divert and some other services were free. In the terms though it said something like there's a $3 fee for 'changing'. Surely this can't be right?

Call forwarding

I'm on an OCV200 plan and wish to setup call forwarding. how do I do this? Optus websites mention *63 etc, but I cet a recorded message saying this service is unavailable. Ideally, I'd love some type of web service where I could setup call forwarding without the need to be on the physicall phone. Is...

Re: exeSMS error messages (Vista x64)

WEll, as above, this was the answer... Worth noting though, I had to stick the .dll file in c\program files (x86)\exesms. when I stuck it in windows/system32 it still had the same problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Sean, This issue is related to the Microsof...

Re: SMS Via Web Messages may only sent via Exetel IP Addresses

how does limiting IP addresses = security? If a malicious person had access to a compromised account, i'm sure they would be clever enough to spoof an IP address. Also, how does being able to send via the standalone util = better security? If an account has been compromised, surely the malicious per...

SMS Via Web Messages may only sent via Exetel IP Addresses

I tried sending a web SMS from work tonight and got this message "SMS Via Web Messages may only sent via Exetel IP Addresses" Why has this been implemented? I would like to 'protest' against this as I often find I want/need to send SMS away from my own PC. I'm sure Exetel would rather my 5c than giv...

Re: exeSMS error messages (Vista x64)

Thanks for the reply.

I definitely installed the SSL libraries.

I'll check the firewall settings. But how would the firewall cause the DLL error message?

I'm assuming the program has been tested on vista x64 environments OK?

exeSMS error messages (Vista x64)

I have previsouly loved using the exeSMS program on my XP x86 system. I installed the latest version of the program straight from the Exetel website and I get this error when starting the program; "This application failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may ...
