Re: Rapidshare claims I'm downloading when I'm not

Yes, that's right, Jdownloader. I've downloaded multiple files in a row many times from rapidshare over the last few weeks. But that was the first time it's given that message. I ended up changing my IP. Since then I've again downloaded several files in a row with no probs. I don't think I'll ever f...

Rapidshare claims I'm downloading when I'm not

I'm trying to download a file from rapidshare.com but it's giving me the error message: "Already a download from your IP in progress!" ... then a timer counts down, tries again to start the download, only to give the same message. This continues in circles indefinitely. I know I can change my IP add...

Re: Are new feature suggestions welcome?

Thanks. If it couldn't be an automatic feature, maybe then allow users to enter it manually? That way people could check that page link posted above and enter that "limit" in the software each month. Then a quick glance at the usage meter reassures you are under it.

Just a thought.

Are new feature suggestions welcome?

I've noticed much confusion about unlimited off peak downloads. I want to be sure I follow the acceptable use policy. But after reading it several times I'm still confused. I'm on a FPB1 plan with unlimited off peak downloads. Sales staff say unlimited off peak means precisely that. But the aup says...

Excess Downloads (50 cents or $6)

I took up a new FP-B1 plan this month. So I logged in to check over the new plan details but found this info: "Excess Downloads per Gbyte: $6.00" Is this just an oversight and I should ignore it? (Isn't it supposed to say $0.50/Gbyte?) If I can tack on another question about excess downloads.... Doe...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Oh ok, I didn't realise the support ticket should be used for that purpose. (Just in case it's not, I used the suggestion box anyway.) I sent this: ----- In reference to the two new plans, FP-B1 and Z/512... Is it at all possible there is a typo in the details of one of the plans? I note they are bo...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Update: The second email I sent yesterday basically said, yes, I understood the plan info he just cut & pasted. But if he looked closely at the first two (512 plans) there seemed to be a typing error there. Because it just didn't make sense having two plans at the same speed and price, but different...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Actually, looking at these again just now, I still don't think they have it right: FP-B1 $40 512/128 24Gb/No Charge Z/512 $40 512/128 12Gb/24Gb These two plans are the same speed, the same price, but one has half the peak downloads AND only 24Gb off peak, whereas the other has double the peak quota ...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Well it seems it was a typo after all because the 512 plans were this: FP-B1: 12Gb /No Charge, $40 Z/512: 12Gb/24Gb, $40 They are now displaying as this: FP-B1: 24Gb /No Charge, $40 Z/512: 12Gb/24Gb, $40 It would have been nice if the help desk guy had actually read my email, instead of just cut & p...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Just got an email reply. Someone from overseas by the sounds of it. I don't think they read my question and just rattled off what it already says on the plan page. I don't see how it can be correct though!? Is there anyone from Exetel (in Australia) reading that could confirm if the two 512 plans ar...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Yeah, now that you mention it, it does seem like a typing error doesn't it. The Z/1500 has double the peak quota of the FP-C1 plan. But the two 512 plans have the same peak quota. And the Z/512 has 24Gb in the off peak, as if they copy/pasted but got distracted and forgot to complete the editing. I'...

Re: New plans - I'm confused

Thanks for the replies... jubba said: "Please check 9.1.d here: http://www.exetel.com.au/a_acceptable_use.php" Yep, I went there. It says off peak won't fall below 60Gb on "no charge" plans. I'm at a loss why anyone would go with the Z/512 plan and be limited to 24Gb off peak. Whereas they can proba...

New plans - I'm confused

I've been comparing the new plans and I'm a little confused. Check out this quick summary of four plans: 1. FP-B1 = 512kbps 12Gb + No charge for $40/m 2. Z/512 = 512kbps 12Gb + 24Gb for $40/m 3. FP-C1 = 1500kbps 12Gb + No charge for $50/m 4. Z/1500 = 1500kbps 24Gb + 36Gb for $50/m Why not discard th...

ADSL on Telstra Homeline Budget plan

Apologies, this was the most relevant forum I could find.

It used to be the case if you had ADSL you were unable to change to a Telstra Homeline Budget plan. Has this changed?
