Hi, that seems to have fixed it for now.
Thanks.

VOIP calls out to mobiles OK, but mobiles can't call VOIP
NBN VOIP calls our three mobile (Aldi sims) phones OK, but not the other way around.
All restriction checkboxes are clear in my user account.
NBN Modem with VOIP is the Exetel supplied ZTE.
Any ideas?

E0058924498 billed for 'free' calls
I emailed support about this but no reply after a week. For just under a month, we tried the $10 unlimited VOIP call pack .. $10 per MONTH. Just before the first month was up, I asked to have it cancelled for the next month as we weren't making many calls. There's no clear button that says 'cancel $...

500 meters from the node, yet 20% less speed
Three months ago we switched from ADSL to the NBN 1/12 100GB bandwidth plan. We were only getting 1/11 on the dot, yet paying 1/12 money. Needing more bandwidth, we went to upgrade last week, but all the 1/12 plans were scraped, so onto the 20/50 500GB plan. Now we're on the 20/50 plan and only gett...

Re: 1/12 plans gone?
Gee, we only connected to the nbn 2 months ago ... now this .. great timing ... but those already on 1/12 are going to be OK .. which means the 1/12 pipe (or whatever the tech term) is going to be active regardless. 10 years with you on ADSL2 300gb at $49.00 a month (plus calls), and only ever got 3...

1/12 plans gone?
I just went to change from 1/12 100gb $39.99, to 1/12 500gb $49.99, but all the 1/12 plans, that existed last week, are gone.

Re: Disabling TR-069
The steps provided by KavindaS don't actually block 7547 port.
Steps to block (stealth) the port are on my blog.

No worries, I figured it out myself - I'm now 100% stealth.
The steps to turn off the ZTE TR-069 are on my blog.

Re: Port 7547 open on ZTE
Hello, What is shown in that other thread doesn't actually close port 7547, thus true stealth is impossible. Might as well turn the one click on/off no settings, "firewall" off. I just ran AngryIP scanner in my Exetel IP range. Geez, so many others with open ports. This ZTE is a pile of junk - geewi...

Re: Port 7547 open on ZTE
Still playing around.. http://my-ip-address:7547 is still open to the world .. and it's not even HTTPS! How do I close 7547 when your tech guys are done setting up my nbn and voip? Changing url settings in the TR-069 won't close it. How do I block any other ports in that ZTE? The ZTE H268A inbuilt "...

Port 7547 open on ZTE
Hello, I received the "free" Exetel ZTE modern router yesterday and have been learning about the TR-069 / ACS setting in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz0SNEFZ8h0 My TR-069 is Exetel set to use port 7547. A quick search on that port shows hackers love it. A test of that port on the router you ...

Re: Leave me on ADSL until the new VDSL moderm arrives!
In that case probably you will receive the modem before... Or 'probably' not. We're only changing over because we have no choice after 18 months anyway. Considering VDSL modems work on ADSL, common sense would be... - Extel sends the modems out first - Once delivery is confirmed, the copper is turn...

Leave me on ADSL until the new VDSL moderm arrives!
Customer Number: 114789 I just upgraded from ADSL to NBN in my admin panel. (that oddly didn't let me chose the $10 unlimited calls option as well) An email came though saying... "Please note that your current Exetel ADSL service will be cancelled once your new nbn™ service is active." What...
