Re: Does Exetel us Cloudflare?

Where's my last post gone? (geez, I thought Twitter and Facebook were the only ones banning stuff)
Anyway, thank you for the update.

Re: Does Exetel us Cloudflare?

I don't what tool is operating to obtain your reports, but are you visiting sites concealed behind Cloudflare? Are you finding AWS? 1. "Network Meter" (old Win 7 desktop app) is the only visual tool I'm seeing the Ext IP change with. 2. Idle computer with browser activity still does the change from...

Does Exetel us Cloudflare?

Hello. I've been noticing the last 6+ months that SOMETIMES my external IP is supposedly going through Cloudflare. 172.68.86.117, 172.68.86.7 and 172.68.86.5 I see this going on via the old Windows 7 desktop app "Network Meter" (scene grab attached) I suspect my "PrivateFirewall" software or the Net...

Re: ZTE H268A

Whoops, just noticed T9 firmware now, but someone is having trouble with call logs. https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=46074 Is there a firmware updates list from T6 to T9 somewhere I can read that might includes issues with DNS hacking. Or do we just have to blindly trust the Wu-flu Chines...

ZTE H268A

Hi, last 6 months I've have had a DNS browser hacker toying with one of my software installs, or the ZTE.
I've had evil TR-069 off for over 12 months and checking to see there's any urgent firmware-software updates for the ZTE H268A.
My firmware is V1.0.1_ETL.1T6
cheers

Re: Magae IP, only two choices

IPv4 is a diminishing resources, and these IPs are increasingly valuable. We were told today our plan is going up by $6 a month too, yet options like IP changing are seemingly gone. More for less. How am I supposed to protect my 'logged out, cleared cookies' privacy from sites like Facebook, Google...

Magae IP, only two choices

Hello, like those that clean their cookies, I hate being tracked by Google etc online via IP, thus I like to change my IP 4 from time to time. Since switching to the NBN I've notice the 'Manage IP' only allows 2 choices, my current IP, and the last one I switched from prior. The two rotating each ch...

VOIP calls out to mobiles OK, but mobiles can't call VOIP

NBN VOIP calls our three mobile (Aldi sims) phones OK, but not the other way around.

All restriction checkboxes are clear in my user account.

NBN Modem with VOIP is the Exetel supplied ZTE.

Any ideas?

E0058924498 billed for 'free' calls

I emailed support about this but no reply after a week. For just under a month, we tried the $10 unlimited VOIP call pack .. $10 per MONTH. Just before the first month was up, I asked to have it cancelled for the next month as we weren't making many calls. There's no clear button that says 'cancel $...

500 meters from the node, yet 20% less speed

Three months ago we switched from ADSL to the NBN 1/12 100GB bandwidth plan. We were only getting 1/11 on the dot, yet paying 1/12 money. Needing more bandwidth, we went to upgrade last week, but all the 1/12 plans were scraped, so onto the 20/50 500GB plan. Now we're on the 20/50 plan and only gett...

Re: 1/12 plans gone?

Gee, we only connected to the nbn 2 months ago ... now this .. great timing ... but those already on 1/12 are going to be OK .. which means the 1/12 pipe (or whatever the tech term) is going to be active regardless. 10 years with you on ADSL2 300gb at $49.00 a month (plus calls), and only ever got 3...
