Re: Slow speeds, possible broken modem?

Well its sites like lookpic.com and dropbox.com and other sites that I havent really noted...firefox just says waiting for <sitename>

EDIT: Lookpic responded to pings but still took about 5 attempts to load.

Re: Slow speeds, possible broken modem?

Well today even with the hardcoded DNS I've had the same issues with multiple sites so I'm going to try lowering my MTU to 1400 for now.

Well actually when I failed to connect to anything this morning, I hardcoded my DNS to exetel ones and havent had any issues yet so it looks pretty good, but I'm still watching out since I don't know a pattern.

Slow speeds, possible broken modem?

Heya guys, a few days ago I had my modem drop out my connection on me for a few hours, and since then and a bit previously before then my internet speeds have been incredibly low.
The link is at nowhere near max capacity so would the issue be with my modem?

thanks in advance

Re: ETA on new GBIT link?

Would it be possible for everyone to be put on static profiles until the new link is installed and/or old ones upgraded?

Hi guys, just would like to know the timeframe on the new gbit link being integrated as the current one is at capacity at the moment and is making general internet browsing very hard.

Is my router or modem broken?

Hey guys, not really sure where to post this but you're a helpful bunch so I came here. Earlier today my Belkin N300 router lost connection to my modem, which it does regularly, however it usually reconnects after 30 seconds and I disregard the issue although it being annoying. But today as the rout...

Slow speed not related to link?

Hi all, as you might know I created an issue about my slow ADSL2+ speeds here http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=35272 and I was informed that it was the link causing my slow speeds and that it would be upgraded soon. I assume that since the member's section graphs are no longer flatli...
