Re: Exetel Network Congestion
As we all don't have the time to waste on unproductive actions - I won't. I will use this forum to state the obvious though(unproductive??, probably). Customers that use this forum and Whirlpool usually have some level of experience, granted we all cannot have the Degree in the 'Arts' of Networking ...

Re: Exetel Network Congestion
If could reply us with the requested information, we will be in a better position to investigate the matter effectively. The requests include different times of the day, fafing around with Phone line wires and I am not able to continually be in front of a computer that can manually run the Flash ba...

Re: Exetel Network Congestion
Just a quick post: Have also received the automated request for (more of the same) testing data... Just wanted to say - the earlier response of "suppliers equipment" is hard to accept as just about every (speed) test I have seen in this topic has been done directly within Exetel's Network.. Also lik...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times
Will Exetel also get blamed when the "Three Strikes = Disconnection" issue gains traction?
Users should be grateful for ANY "Off-Peak" quota and treat is as a bonus [which it is].
[Flame suit ready.......]

Re: Viewing Voip calls from previous months
Hi group, it seems to me that my problem may be of a technical nature because the only information appearing on my invoice [for April's usage] is: 1. All calls made via my PSTN Wire-line connection [all calls here have a charge - as expected] 2. The additional "line" services etc 3. Details of the e...

Re: Viewing Voip calls from previous months
Hi group, I am new to Exetel and for convenience it would be nice to keep track of my calls made with my VOIP account. I can see by other posts that the 100 free VOIP call's a month is quite new and I can also [logically] understand that the un-billed free calls [now] wouldn't appear on the monthly ...

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?
I am also responding as a pensioner [disability]. Firstly I feel the need to respond to James's quote "What makes pensioners any different from any other group of people? Why should they get cheaper internet" Initially the response would reflect my situation - The clear fact is that we don't have th...

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period
For me I can see the benefit of utilising more of the off peak quota during the day. I can also state, for me I don't see the network loading issues stated by other posts. If the network availability is similar then I cannot see any "bad" in the proposal. I am not an on-line gamer but do utilise VOI...

Re: Help on coverage Nth Sydney & Crib point Melb
Thanks again, I don't know the area at all - I am doing all the research for my daughter, but from what I have seen via this and other forums on balance there would be reasonable success in trying. I really don't think I would have continued looking if I didn't find a ISP with a less than 24mth cont...

Re: Help on coverage Nth Sydney & Crib point Melb
Thanks Dazzle, Contour maps would be some use, Google Earth and maps are limited in this area. I guess there is no such listing that would show the locations of cell transmitters [way too hopeful] Local knowledge is very valuable indeed. Thanks to all, the decision has been made to go ahead and at l...
