process for porting to exetel

Not a problem but a presales query, wasn't sure where to put it. Can someone confirm, if I'm porting my mobile from 3 to Exetel, I leave my 3 account active so I get calls until Exetel sim arrives, then I log in and port my number, then when that is complete I cancel my 3 service right? How do you k...

switching from naked to landline

I'm currently on the Z/20NOTEL Naked dsl plan and am thinking of switching to the OT-20 internet+phone instead. Would I have to pay an extra connection fee to have the landline connected?

Also, would I still have access to my existing VOIP facility? I assume I would but thought it better to ask

Slightly different OCV200 question

I noticed that the previous thread possibly answered this, but I wanted to confirm - the switch from Naked to OCV plans, it;s definitely just a case of Optus hiring a telstra owned pair? Cos the only motivation I would have is to get of this terrible telstra copper I'm on :P I know at my old house w...

slower and slower

My naked adsl2 connection is getting slower and slower. It was never great, close to 4mb when I first connected some years ago, but had been about the same on Internode previously so clearly a line length/quality issue. Then a year or two ago I had major connection problems after a lot of rain, they...

Can I get voicemail to answer sooner?

Hi All Does anyone know if there's a way to get my VOIP voicemail to pick up sooner - ie, to change the number of rings before pickup? It currently takes an absurdly long time to answer and most people hang up before it does - a number of friends have told me that my voicemail is broken because they...

Re: New Residential Members Facilities

I like the layout, didn't have much trouble finding the things I tend to use.

Technical issue - Using Internet Explorer 8 (for testing purposes only! :P) I get the attached warning about some content being unsecured EVERY TIME I CLICK! That's pretty annoying!
