Re: New NBN plans - Sneak Peek
That makes sense then. Exetels prices are still way better regardless. Will these plans include a VoIP number as well or some other telephony option? You can go for a VOIP service with all NBN packages. You also get a free VoIP DID Number with every RV (Residential VoIP) plan. Would that be a free ...

Unfortunaty you are not the only one. I can watch foxtel on 360 until about 6.30 then it buffers so bad it is unwatchable. Bring on the NBN!

Re: Securemote VPN fails
I can't do it from the bigpond connection as it is no longer active, the Exetel ADSL service replaced it.
It could be the draytek router I have as I doubt it would be the exetel connection.

Securemote VPN fails
Hi all, Not sure why this would be. Last time I tried this from home I was on a bigpond connection using a different modem too. I can get securemote to connect to the office however it fails shortly after with an error "Gateway timed out". Now if I use my optus wireless connection it connects perfec...

Port Scan detected.
Any reason an exetel server would try and port scan me?

MRTG charts - Little or no usage Akamai, P2P
Sorry if this has been posted before...
Was looking at them today and noticed the Akamai, NSW/VIC/QLD P2P charts all seem a little strange. Little or no usage?
That is all

One quota to rule them all...
Ok so it has been a long week :) Not sure if this is possible/feasible but would be a fantastic differentiator... What if Exetel offered allocated quota and how you access that quota is irrelevant, e.g. mobile dongle or adsl or tethering or mobile phone etc? So you get a pooled quota across multiple...

IPV6 - the end of unmetered content?
Will IPV6 remove the inclusions? No Unmetering with IPv6 The 'Unmetering' of certain sites that is offered to Internode ADSL customers is not available via IPv6 (regardless of access method). Internode has not yet determined whether unmetering will be either technically feasible or commercially viab...

Re: New 'Standard' Wireless Broadband Plans
Thinking thinking.. Will these plans work with the exetel email system? Tossing between this or amaysim (sp?) for ADSL failover.
If we don't have an exetel IP then you can't send emails via your exetel account (except for webmail).

Re: OCV200 Bundled ADSL with telephone service
I apologise in advance if this has been asked and answered previously but I couldn't find it..
When I dial out via PSTN can I have the caller id masked to my voip number? I had a hunt through the members facilites but couldn't find a form anywhere.
TIA
Ron

Re: OCV200 Bundled ADSL with telephone service
Did anyone else not get a suburb number prefix? The number I now have for my wireline doesn't start with the first 4 digits typical to my suburb.
Don't care just thought it was odd.
